Величина духовной разницы между высшей личностью вселенского бытия и низшими группами сотворённых разумных немыслима. Будь это возможным для низших чинов разумных, мгновенно перенестись в присутствие самого Отца, они бы не знали, что находятся именно там. Они бы там так же не замечали присутствия Всеобщего Отца, как не замечают его там, где они сейчас находятся. Смертному человеку предстоит долгий-долгий путь, прежде чем он сможет последовательно и в пределах царств возможного/возможностей попросить о безопасном перемещении в Райское присутствие Всеобщего Отца. Духовно человеку полагается многократно преобразовываться, прежде чем он сможет достигнуть какого-то плана [бытия], который принесёт ему духовное зрение, позволяющее увидеть даже любого из Семи Мастер-вселенских Духов. 5:1.1
The magnitude of the spiritual difference between the highest personality of universe existence and the lower groups of created intelligences is inconceivable. Were it possible for the lower orders of intelligence to be transported instantly into the presence of the Father himself, they would not know they were there. They would there be just as oblivious of the presence of the Universal Father as where they now are. There is a long, long road ahead of mortal man before he can consistently and within the realms of possibility ask for safe conduct into the Paradise presence of the Universal Father. Spiritually, man must be translated many times before he can attain a plane that will yield the spiritual vision which will enable him to see even any one of the Seven Master Spirits.

Both the physical and spiritual visions of Adam and Eve were far superior to those of the present-day peoples. Their special senses were much more acute, and they were able to see the midwayers and the angelic hosts, the Melchizedeks, and the fallen Prince Caligastia, who several times came to confer with his noble successor. They retained the ability to see these celestial beings for over 100 years after the default. These special senses were not so acutely present in their children and tended to diminish with each succeeding generation.

The spiritual awakening of the VI century before Christ did not persist in India, having died out even before the Mohammedan invasion. But someday a greater Gautama may arise to lead all India in the search for the living God, and then the world will observe the fruition of the cultural potentialities of a versatile people so long comatose under the benumbing influence of an unprogressing spiritual vision.

Lao-tse built directly upon the concepts of the Salem traditions when he declared Tao to be the One First Cause of all creation. Lao was a man of great spiritual vision. He taught that man’s eternal destiny was “everlasting union with Tao, Supreme God and Universal King.” His comprehension of ultimate causation was most discerning, for he wrote: “Unity arises out of the Absolute Tao, and from Unity there appears cosmic Duality, and from such Duality, Trinity springs forth into existence, and Trinity is the primal source of all reality.” “All reality is ever in balance between the potentials and the actuals of the cosmos, and these are eternally harmonized by the spirit of divinity.”

Формирование философской нормы жизни влечёт за собой значительный галдёж в философских царствах разума. Приверженность в защиту великого, благого, истинного и благородного не происходит так, чтобы без схватки. Усилие сопутствует ясности духовного зрения и улучшению космической проницательности. А человеческий разум протестует против отвлекания его от подпитывания недуховными энергиями временного существования. Вялый животный разум сопротивляется при усилии, необходимом, чтобы биться над решением космической проблемы. 100:4.2
The organization of a philosophic standard of living entails considerable commotion in the philosophic realms of the mind. Loyalties are not exercised in behalf of the great, the good, the true, and the noble without a struggle. Effort is attendant upon clarification of spiritual vision and enhancement of cosmic insight. And the human intellect protests against being weaned from subsisting upon the nonspiritual energies of temporal existence. The slothful animal mind rebels at the effort required to wrestle with cosmic problem solving.

Даже эволюционная религия – всё это преданность и величие, ведь это чей-то подлинный опыт. А религия откровения и превосходна и подлинна. Новые преданные с расширенным духовным зрением создают новые уровни любви и приверженности, служения и товарищества; и всё это расширенное социальное мировоззрение создаёт расширенное сознание Отцовства Бога и братства человека. 100:6.8
Even evolutionary religion is all of this in loyalty and grandeur because it is a genuine experience. But revelatory religion is excellent as well as genuine. The new loyalties of enlarged spiritual vision create new levels of love and devotion, of service and fellowship; and all this enhanced social outlook produces an enlarged consciousness of the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man.
Философское устранение религиозного страха и неуклонный прогресс науки значительно способствуют отмиранию ложных богов; и хотя такие утраты созданных человеком божеств могут ненадолго затуманить духовное зрение, однажды они уничтожают то невежество и суеверие, которые так долго затмевали живого Бога вечной любви. 102:6.1
The philosophic elimination of religious fear and the steady progress of science add greatly to the mortality of false gods; and even though these casualties of man-made deities may momentarily befog the spiritual vision, they eventually destroy that ignorance and superstition which so long obscured the living God of eternal love.

«Но никогда не забывайте, что богатство всё же недолговечно. Любовь к богатству слишком часто затмевает и даже разрушает духовное зрение. Не упустите, осознайте опасность, как богатство становится не вашим слугой, а вашим хозяином». 165:4.6
“But never forget that, after all, wealth is unenduring. The love of riches all too often obscures and even destroys the spiritual vision. Fail not to recognize the danger of wealth’s becoming, not your servant, but your master.”
Иисус Филиппу
После этого Иисус подошёл к Филиппу, который, поднявшись с места, выслушал следующий наказ своего Учителя: «Филипп ... ты повторял про себя: „Как мне быть, если Учитель уйдёт и оставит нас одних в этом мире?“ ... Вскоре ты сложишь с себя обязанности эконома и должен будешь активнее заняться тем трудом, к которому был призван, – проповедью этого евангелия царства. Филипп, ты всегда хотел, чтобы тебе показали, и очень скоро ты станешь свидетелем великих событий. Было бы намного лучше, если бы ты увидел всё это глазами своей веры, но поскольку ты был искренним даже в своей материальности, ты увидишь, как слова мои сбываются при твоей жизни. А затем, когда ты будешь благословлён духовным зрением, обратись к своему труду: посвяти жизнь тому, чтобы вести людей на поиск Бога и вечных реальностей, пользуясь глазами духа, а не материального разума. And then Jesus went over to Philip, who, standing up, heard this message from his Master: “Philip ... have you been saying to yourself, ‘What shall I ever do if the Master goes away and leaves us alone in the world?’ ... You must soon more fully do the work you were called to do — the preaching of this gospel of the kingdom. Philip, you have always wanted to be shown, and very soon shall you see great things. Far better that you should have seen all this by faith, but since you were sincere even in your material sightedness, you will live to see my words fulfilled. And then, when you are blessed with spiritual vision, go forth to your work, dedicating your life to the cause of leading mankind to search for God and to seek eternal realities with the eye of spiritual faith and not with the eyes of the material mind. Remember, Philip, you have a great mission on earth, for the world is filled with those who look at life just as you have tended to. You have a great work to do, and when it is finished in faith, you shall come to me in my kingdom, and I will take great pleasure in showing you that which eye has not seen, ear heard, nor the mortal mind conceived. In the meantime, become as a little child in the kingdom of the spirit and permit me, as the spirit of the new teacher, to lead you forward in the spiritual kingdom. And in this way will I be able to do much for you which I was not able to accomplish when I sojourned with you as a mortal of the realm. And always remember, Philip, he who has seen me has seen the Father. »
