The Divine Counsellors, to whom this order is attached, utilize them to reflect from one world to another the benefits to be derived from spiritual service.

Иисус – богачу-римлянину

Один богатый человек, римский гражданин и стоик, очень заинтересовался учением Иисуса... этот зажиточный гражданин спросил Иисуса, что бы тот сделал с богатством, имей он его, и Иисус ответил:
«Я бы даровал материальное богатство для улучшения материальной жизни, равно как содействовал бы знанием, мудростью и духовным служением обогащению интеллектуальной жизни, облагораживанию социальной жизни и продвижению духовной жизни. Я бы распоряжался материальным богатством как мудрый и эффективный попечитель ресурсов одного поколения на благо и облагораживание следующего и последующих поколений». 132:5.1
A certain rich man, a Roman citizen and a Stoic, became greatly interested in Jesus’ teaching ... this wealthy citizen asked Jesus what he would do with wealth if he had it, and Jesus answered him: “I would bestow material wealth for the enhancement of material life, even as I would minister knowledge, wisdom, and spiritual service for the enrichment of the intellectual life, the ennoblement of the social life, and the advancement of the spiritual life. I would administer material wealth as a wise and effective trustee of the resources of one generation for the benefit and ennoblement of the next and succeeding generations.”

Иисус: "... Не забывай чему я учил вас о связи гражданства на земле с сыновством в Отцовом духовном царстве. Хорошо обдумай всё, что я сказал тебе о воздании кесарю кесарева, а Богу Божьего. Посвяти свою жизнь, Симон, показу, как достойно смертный человек может исполнить моё предписание/наказ насчёт одновременного признания временного долга перед гражданскими властями и духовного служения в братстве царства.
Будешь научен Духом Истины [дар Михаила] – никогда не будет конфликта между требованиями гражданства на земле и сыновства на небесах, если только временные правители не осмелятся требовать от тебя почтения и поклонения, которые принадлежат только Богу". 181:2.10
Jesus: «... Do not forget what I have taught you regarding the relation of citizenship on earth to sonship in the Father’s spiritual kingdom. Ponder well all that I have said to you about rendering to Caesar the things which are Caesar’s and to God that which is God’s. Dedicate your life, Simon, to showing how acceptably mortal man may fulfil my injunction concerning the simultaneous recognition of temporal duty to civil powers and spiritual service in the brotherhood of the kingdom.
If you will be taught by the Spirit of Truth, never will there be conflict between the requirements of citizenship on earth and sonship in heaven unless the temporal rulers presume to require of you the homage and worship which belong only to God.»
