Tina Knowles Launches New Initiative to Support Women Entrepreneurs

Los Angeles, CA – April 22, 2025 – Tina Knowles, celebrated fashion designer, philanthropist, and matriarch of the Knowles-Carter family, has announced the launch of her latest venture, 'She Rises', a nonprofit initiative aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs from underserved communities.

The program, set to kick off in June 2025, will provide mentorship, business grants, and networking opportunities to women looking to start or expand their businesses. Knowles, who has long been an advocate for female empowerment, shared her inspiration behind the project in an exclusive interview with Forbes.

'I’ve been blessed to build my own career in fashion and support my daughters in their journeys, but I know so many women don’t have access to the same resources,' Knowles said. 'She Rises is about leveling the playing field and giving women the tools they need to succeed.'

The initiative has already garnered support from high-profile figures, including her daughters Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, as well as business mogul Oprah Winfrey, who will serve as an honorary advisor.

In addition to funding, She Rises will host an annual summit featuring workshops led by industry leaders. Knowles also revealed plans for a companion docuseries, highlighting the stories of women who have overcome barriers to achieve success.

Fans and supporters have taken to social media to praise Knowles’ latest endeavor, with #SheRises trending on Twitter. Applications for the program’s first cohort open next month.
