1. The viral agent must be either in the body fluids of the host (animal or vegetable) during the disease, or in cells showing lesions characteristic of this disease.
2. Host material with a viral agent used for inoculation of a healthy host (test organism) should not contain any other microorganisms.
3. A viral agent derived from an infected host must cause specific disease in a suitable healthy host and/or provide evidence of infection by inducing the formation of antibodies specific to that agent.
4. Such material (viral particle) from the newly infected host (tested organism) should be isolated and able to transmit a particular disease to other healthy hosts.
Whatever set of postulates is used, SARS-CoV-2 is not tested.
There are no certified reference materials for isolated SARS-CoV-2 "COVID-19" virus. To accurately conduct experiments, scientists/technicians must have reference samples or standards to calibrate the equipment and confirm the test results. Reference standards can only be derived from an independently isolated and carefully characterized pure virus.
The process of using certified reference materials (CRM) to validate analysis methods and calibration sequences in the laboratory is as follows:
1) Get the CRM of what they want to test ("analyte"). This means obtaining a purified insulated standard with a known concentration (usually in a carrier such as water or as a dry powder). For example, when mercury in food is checked, a certified mercury standard with a known concentration of mercury dissolved in water, nitric acid, and hydrochloric acid is used.
2) Run CRM as a sample at different concentrations to build a "curve" that effectively shows the instrument what the analytic looks like and how the instrument detector reacts to different concentrations of the analytic. The end result is a "quantitative curve" that will be used in step 3.
The tools will "match" what you're looking for in a variety of ways, filtering out anything else that doesn't match. In mass spectrometry, molecules are identified by their molecular weight, the nature of ion fragmentation, and the elution time on chromatographic columns. In order for a substance to conform, it must meet all these parameters.
3) Conduct through the device unknown samples (serum, urine, saliva, water, extracts of food samples, etc.). See if the unknown sample contains anything you were looking for (analyte). Since you have constructed a quantitative curve, you can also determine the concentration of the analyte in the original sample. This is usually expressed as a mass-to-volume ratio, e.g. ng/ml (nanograms per milliliter). A nanogram is one billionth of a gram. When we test products for glyphosate, we can detect as little as 1 nanogram per milliliter, which tells you something about the extreme sensitivity of high-end instruments.
It's the process of testing something and determining how much something is found in another. For example, if you were going to determine if someone had "covid," you'll need to determine the concentration of covid-19 viruses in their blood (i.e., "viral load").

What does all this mean? Each object can be quantified, so measure it. Using the word "quantitative" in this phrase means that they don't have a measurable amount of virus because it's not available. It turns out there is nothing to measure, there is no virus.

This means that the current test – the one used to inform about the COVID pandemic – does not allow for such differentiation.
