It's gross and I've seen a couple of them in my apartment and I had to spray n spray and I even sprayed outside my door . Some of the ppl tht live here are crack head n dnt care to keep the building clean. Theirs a lot of weird ppl in here. But theirs been problems after problems since being here the water keeps getting shut off which i s so inconvenient and the guy's work on the apts starts pounding n working on the apts at 8am it drives me nuts!! I can't get any sleep because of it. They don't care or the management because THEU DO NOT LIVE HERE IN THIS BUILDING .
SO THEY JUST COME AND GO HOME TO THEIR PERFECT LIL HOMES. SOMEONE AND SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE... WE NEED NEW MANAGEMENT AND THEY NEED TO STOP JUST LETTING ANYONE MOVE INN. Anonymous on 10/28/2012i lived there for 2 months and i kept getting very very sick, i thought it was my allergies to the smell of dogs but there's something else in that building. i had bite marks all over my back and i dont know where they came from... THEY SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Anonymous' on 07/31/2012July 2012 - Present DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DONT MOVE INTO HERE!!!!! There is still Bed bugs even in the hallway and still cockroaches, they recently ripped carpet up (floor 11) and floors below it, the bed bugs are in the hallway if there is carpet. Don't wear long pants in here either. Bed bugs are also in the laundry floor (floor 2) Wass on 05/08/20121260,Ouellette Ave.This place is realm of coack cockroatchers. We have complained about this to the landlord quite a number of times, but he did not do anything.
Anonymous on 10/27/2011To answer to all the managment team including head office are using exterminators daily to combat the issue of bed bugs no money or effort is being spared te whole of WINDSOR/DETROIT AREA ARE EFFECTED. Simon on 10/14/2011Ok... so this is rediculous. I live on the 12th floor and started getting bit. I thought it was allergic reactions and went to see my doctor who prescribed me with Hyrdracortozone. I went to see my doctor again as they progressively got worse.. she suspected bed bugs. I came home and flipped my mattress, box, and bed... I found that my box-spring is infested and so is the mattress. Nothing on the bed or the frame, headboard, etc... I threw them away instant ly and spoke with the manager downstairs. She scheduled an exterminator who came in and asked me to leave for 4 hours. I left for 4 hours and came back... and it seemed as though he did not even enter the bedroom but only exterminated the roaches and other pests. NO BED BUG TREATMENT WAS DONE!!!
So I went to my manager again and told her that I don't think he did anything with the bedroom. She claims that bedbugs are not her responsibility because they are EVERYWHERE. I went out and bought my own insecticides and literally drenched the whole apartment with sprays, powders, hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, Diamatacious Earth, etc... and I come home today to find them CRAWLING ON MY FURNITURE!!! The thing is, last year when I first moved in (august 2010) they suspected bed bugs on the 7th floor so they came into my apartment and "sprayed it" and it was told "Now you're safe!"I don't feel so safe. Can we all round up and take this to court somehow? I have spent over $1000 in mattress/box-spring replacement so far... not to mention all the "Insecticides" I bought to try and remedy the problem myself. Not to mention lost wages due to sleeping on the floor and waking up with a sore neck. Not to mention all the prescriptions I had to pay for because I thought it was an allergy.
Not to mention all the furniture that I'm thinking of disposing of... I HATE THIS PROBLEMMMMM!!!! 7th floor tenant on 07/21/2011you will have to be in a mental state of mind to move into this building. bed bugs have been reported on from the 1st floor up to the 6th floor. management will tell you "hey i just took this position on, and had no idea" the owners do absolutely nothing to take care of the bedbug issue. i have contacted 3 local pest control companies in windsor, and out of all 3, none will come to this buiding due to non payment from the owners. so, many vacant units remain. see for yourself in the hall s. you will see the bedbugs waiting for your arrival. past resident of building on 04/13/2011they will it all on there own, cause they dont pay there bills and no pest control will come. check out bedbuginfo.ca (tenants rights) it is the law for owners to pay. Anonymous on 03/21/2011first experienced bed bugs when i moved in in 2008. Huge infestation had to throw out all of my furniture including bed, multiple bites every single day.
i was given a second unit 4 floors. Took with me just my electronics (which were doubled bagged and stored for three months) and clothing was washed dried and bagged before moving. Once again On Feb 2011 i experienced bites and after searching my bed found a bed bug on m sheets after talking with other tenants it was clear to me that the pr oblem pertained to the whole floor as well. The owner went as far to say that i had brought them into my unit from work (do your research lady!!) and that they do not travel from unit to unit. Management is spraying themselves (using a product which they do not have a licence for) which I believe is what is making this pest migrate to adjacent apartments. i was also told by management that the floor above me (10th) has the problem as well. I have since moved out and treated my belongings (all new furniture) this was very expensive and i was never compensated. management refuses to get a Professional in to deal with this problem which is one of the reasons why this problem will continue to persist.
