I can’t imagine what it would have been like. Renee loves going to The Treehouse, but it’s great that care staff are also able to visit us at home too. I’ve made friends there and get to do loads of fun stuff. EACH has helped us keep Stanley’s memory alive. And allows us to look to the future When we first heard about the hospice we were apprehensive because we didn’t know what to expect.
When we got there we realised it was a lovely place where Renee would be well looked after, and we would be able to have a much-needed break. Children like Lucy don’t get the opportunity to go to sleepovers or to their friends for tea, so the interaction she has at the hospice is priceless. Best Bitter + Gunner's Daughter + a seasonal beer + many others. Excellent breakfast - good ingredients well-cooked. Good quality dinner too. Off the main drags but close to the centre. 5 mins walk from the station. Parking was easy and free. 눉Although there were radiators in the room they did not seem to come on and the room was cold.눇Breakfast was very good. The room was a reasonable size with tea & coffee etc., The staff were very friendly and helpful 눉The bedroom window was stuck on open. I could have complained but didn't it wasn't a problem.눇Convenient location, comfy room, friendly staff and the complementary bottle of beer.
Also the breakfast room opened early so that I could have breakfast. 눉Room was noisy and needs refurb.눇Generally very friendly staff 눉Bathrooms could do with a lick of paint눇Staff were very friendly. Food was very nice. Very comfortable and cheery rooms 눉The shower room was a little tired and could do with updating or decorating at least. Having said that it was very clean and the shower powerful, and towels nice and fluffy. The bedroom was a nice size, clean with everything you could expect, furnishings were a little utilitarian and the bed on the firm side but perfectly comfortable. We would stay again.눇Breakfast choices were wide and varied and the staff very flexible. The food quality itself was excellent and a good potion size, I don't think you could ask for more with a complimentary breakfast to be honest. We also had dinner one evening, atmosphere was great, a warm homely pub feel combined with gastro pub quality food, what more could you ask for! Just a short 5 minute walk from the boutique style shops and a further 5 to the centre so perfectly situated too.
눉The entrance to the car park is very tight.눇Relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the bar/restaurant. Good food and service, and opportunity to taste many different beers and wines due to taster trays. Excellent cooked to order breakfast, and available until noon on a Sunday. Clean, warm, comfortable room with a few surprise extras. 눉Nothing could have been better. We had a lovely stay again and we were looked after well by all staff. Evening meal and breakfast, service and room were all fantastic. Will definitely stay again and spread the word. 눉We felt the room was slightly over priced.눇Staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel was situated close to city centre Food was great. 눉Room but small, but did say that when I booked so can't complain눇Staff brilliant, location was very good, just out of centre. 눉Room was a bit small and not enough teabags/milk눇Food excellent and beer brewed on the premises. Well positioned for walking into Bury-st- Edmunds town and shops and restaurants.
