There, he finds a room filled with paintings—each one depicting a different version of the Lumon logo, suggesting a centuries-long conspiracy. Irving’s journey takes a tragic turn when he’s confronted by his outie, who warns him to stop digging. The encounter leaves Irving emotionally shattered, but more determined than ever to uncover the truth.

The episode’s climax comes when Mark, Helly, and Irving finally reunite in the severed floor’s central hub. They realize that the only way to expose Lumon is to trigger a mass reintegration event, effectively merging the memories of every severed employee. The plan is risky, and the consequences could be catastrophic, but they have no other choice. As they prepare to execute their plan, Cobel and Milchick (Tramell Tillman) launch a full-scale lockdown, trapping them inside.
