Our core philosophy is simple: your data is yours. We have designed SuperBoard so that all AI features operate directly on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit the text you type or speak.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We want to be perfectly clear about what we do not collect. We do not collect, store on our servers, or share any of the personal information you input using SuperBoard. This includes:

• Keystrokes and Text Content: Anything you type, including passwords, credit card numbers, sensitive personal messages, and any other text.
• Voice Input: Audio data from our dictation feature is processed in real-time on your device and is not saved after being converted to text.
• AI-Generated Content: The text you process with our AI features—such as Fix Grammar, Continue Text, Paraphrase, Style, or Translate—is handled exclusively on your device.

All data processing required for the App's features occurs locally on your iPhone.

2. Information We Do Collect

To improve our App and provide a better service, we only collect anonymous, non-identifiable data. This information cannot be linked to you personally. This includes:

• Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous statistics about how our features are used (e.g., how often "Fix Grammar" or "Translate" is activated). This helps us understand which features are most popular and focus our development efforts. We use aggregated data for this purpose, which contains no personal information.
• Performance Data: We may collect anonymous crash reports and performance data to identify and fix technical issues. This information helps us make SuperBoard more stable and efficient.

3. How Our Features Process Data

All of our core features are powered by your device's processing capabilities.

• AI Voice: When you use this feature, your device converts your speech into text. The audio stream is processed locally. The resulting text can then be adapted by language models that also reside on your device. No audio recordings are sent to our servers or stored.
• Fix Grammar: The analysis and correction of grammatical errors happen directly within the App on your phone.
• Continue Text: Text suggestions and continuations are generated by local on-device AI models.
• Paraphrase and Style: Reworking your text to improve its style or rephrase its content occurs on your device.
• Translate: For the translate feature, the App may need to access external services (e.g., Apple's built-in translation services). In such cases, data processing is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive or store the text you translate.

4. App Permissions

• Full Access: To enable certain advanced features, such as improved text suggestions and corrections, SuperBoard may require "Full Access." This is a standard iOS requirement for keyboards that need to communicate with their container app to load new language models or settings. Even with Full Access enabled, we do not collect your keystroke data.
• Microphone Access: This permission is required exclusively for the AI Voice feature to function. We only request this permission when you activate dictation. The audio data is processed in real-time and is not stored.

5. Data Security

We implement state-of-the-art technical and organizational measures to protect data. Since all your personal data (text and voice inputs) remains on your device, you are in full control of its security. The anonymous analytics data we collect is protected using modern encryption methods during transmission and storage.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received such data, we will take steps to delete it.

7. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
