Paramount Plus Announces Major Expansion with Exclusive Original Content and Live Sports

Los Angeles, CA – June 10, 2024 – In a bold move to compete with streaming giants like Netflix, Disney , and Max, Paramount Global has unveiled a major expansion plan for Paramount Plus, including a slate of new original series, blockbuster films, and exclusive live sports coverage.

New Original Series and Films

Paramount Plus revealed an ambitious lineup of over 20 new original series and movies set to debut in 2025. Highlights include:

'Star Trek: Legacy' – A highly anticipated spin-off from Star Trek: Picard, bringing back fan-favorite characters in a new galactic adventure.

'Yellowstone: Next Generation' – A continuation of the hit Yellowstone saga, following the Dutton family’s next chapter.

'Mission: Impossible – Spy Wars' – An exclusive series set in the Mission: Impossible universe, featuring new agents and high-stakes espionage.

Additionally, Paramount Plus will stream new theatrical releases just 45 days after their debut in cinemas, including major franchises like Transformers, A Quiet Place, and Scream.

Exclusive Live Sports Coverage

In a major coup, Paramount Plus has secured rights to stream NFL games, UEFA Champions League matches, and select NCAA college football games. Subscribers will also get access to in-depth analysis and behind-the-scenes content.

Global Expansion and Pricing

The service is set to launch in 25 new countries by the end of 2024, with localized content and subtitles. A new premium tier (
