  • Alcohol:

Alcohol have lot of things that are done at once.

To understand the whole effects of alcohol, read the sections of "Depressants", "Dopamine" and "Empathogen". This list is in alphabetical order, but in fact, i would rather to talk lastly about alcohol.

However, i also should point that alcohol mess with your amygdala, and this may lead people to a flee-or-fight response, and that is one of the reasons Alcohol users may get into fights and aggressive behavior (coming home and beat their family).

I think Alcohol is one of the worst drugs of humanity, but it is so popular that people don't mind about it. I would say it is comparable to sniffing cocaine and smoking crack, no jokes. I think that it also should be seem as a dirty drug just like those.

It is also one of the strongest drugs i ever used. Sober people drink alcohol and be like "at least i don't use drugs, duuuuh", dude, not only alcohol is a drug, it is one of the most addictive and strong drug.

You are never going to see someone high on weed doing things that are completely retarded and regretting it later, rolling over their own puke and pee, opening oneself intimately to one's love, or kissing someone that you don't really love.

Alcohol people that attacks psychedelics users think we are way higher than them in LSD than they are on alcohol, but i never saw someone disoriented by using LSD at the point of falling on the floor. The effects are just different, but i think alcohol is stronger than LSD from far, it is stronger than cocaine, stronger than crack, stronger than MDMA... Once again, alcohol is one of the strongest drugs i ever used. After you have experience with multiple substances, you get shocked how people treat alcohol as "no big deal", some at the point of not even calling it a drug. Give me a break! I never got semi-unconscious by using any other drug!

I truly hate alcohol, maybe i'm biased because i had a problem with addiction (but i admit i still drink it and that i still do have a degree of addiction), but, if you consider all the studies about health, behavior, social problems, civil problems and more, it is not far-fetched from me. I think, in that order: Opioids, Crack, Alcohol at the same rank as cocaine; are the most generally problematic drugs ever to exist.

I once stopped drinking for four years after a Wachuma "overdose".

I then got depressed and got addicted with it again, and cannabis is aiding me a lot, because i stopped drinking strong spirits and now i'm only drinking few beers, but i still think this is damaging me a lot and i pretend to fully stop and drink only in special family events (like, Christmas).

  • Cannabinoids:

I only used weed as a cannabinoid, i don't have interest in those toxic synthetic alternatives.

I think cannabinoids have an unique effect, but also that it triggers the same "mental space" 5HT_2A drugs gives, so i consider it a psychedelic just like LSD and etc.

However, it is more relaxing and have a better effect in hearing.

It is my fav substance, and it also increases mental activity, leading to a deep philosophical state and creativity. I explain better in the section where i compare between psychedelics themselves.

However, in simple terms: everything i said in the 5HT_2A section also applies here.

  • Depressants:

Alcohol is the only depressant i have used.

Depressant does the opposite of a stimulant, and i would say it also does the opposite of psychedelics.

While stimulant gives a boost in energy, depressant lowers it. While psychedelics gives a boost in mental activity, depressant lowers it.

However, this is one of the biggest reasons it makes me fall to alcohol, because it nullify the problems in our life, it makes our thoughts go away, it makes stimulus not intense, so you don't get into intense emotions, it makes you ignore life and your problems, then it gives dopamine and you feel rewarded. Things looks solved, it is a delusion.

But in fact, it is a double-edged sword, because, alcohol makes me more sad and melancholic. People compare alcohol to parties, because the dopamine, but if you don't use in a party and with friends, pay attention, alcohol in fact does not make you joyful and happy, it makes you sad. But it is addictive, since, it also makes you numb to sadness, so you get in a cyclic problem, you get sadder, and you drink to numb it, then you get even sadder, so you drink more to numb it. Party people wont understand that, alcoholic people will understand me perfectly, at home alone, we just cry when we drink.

  • Dopamine:

Drugs that leads to dopamine can come from various sources, most psychedelics can also lead to dopamine increase.

However, when i talk about dopamine, i'm going to talk mostly about the drugs that have a main or higher effect in that, which are mostly stimulants and alcohol.

I wont repeat what i wrote in the glossary here, so get back there and read it again.

Like i said in the glossary (i explain better there), dopamine is addictive, and so, dopaminic drugs are normally pretty addictive, in my view, only opioids are more addictive than dopamine ones.

Since drugs that lead to dopamine makes one feel rewarded, some people may get euphoric with this feeling and then that is why you see drunk people partying and stuff, since they are like commemorating "nothing".

Dopamine is what makes us feel the will to dance, to clap, to cheer. And so, you can see in people that are fan of cocaine, that they are always in this state of wanting to "do something fun". This may lead people to have reckless behavior, like, driving dangerously, doing radical things, stupid games that ends up in stupid prizes.

And because of that, i'm not fan of "dopaminic" drugs, especially that i'm not a hedonist, and i think dopaminic drugs are aimed to hedonists.

  • Empathogenics:

I have only used MDMA as empathogenic, i explained already what i think of it and why i don't like it. Empathogenics is like when you drink alcohol, but takes out the high dopamine (but it is still very dopaminic) and depressant effects, and you keep with only the social effects. To the contrary of alcohol, i think that it at least don't lead one to be aggressive, and then, i think because of that, people normally see MDMA as "no big deal", and some even see it as good and therapeutic. I don't think so. MDMA may relatively easily lead to psychological addiction, and most friends that used it said they got addicted to it.

Because MDMA is also based on setoronin, some people try to excuse that it is something not far from LSD, but i think people that used both LSD and MDMA knows that it makes absolutely no sense. MDMA does not activate the same subtype of 5HT receptor, the effects are not the same at all.

It is not exactly a "social effect" (like so called), but more like the feeling that leads one to do social awkward things like when one is drunk, but without that dizzy feeling of a drunk. And so, i think in fact that MDMA may make people open themselves too much, do things they wouldn't do if they weren't on MDMA, do cringe things, declare the love to someone you don't love, and may lead you to lot of social regrets. It basically make you more expressive, and not exactly more social, but people tends to connect both to the same thing: "you express yourself in social events".

Just like people normally joke that only a drunk person can deal with another drunk person, i think the same of MDMA, when i see someone under MDMA effect and i'm not, in fact this person becomes an annoying person, that is also a reason why i dislike to see it as a "social" drug, and more like a "openness / expressiveness drug".

I think the best way i can describe it is when you keep a long period being lonely, and then you compensate that all at once when you meet people you love, like a girlfriend or a family member, but it gives this effect / feelings to anyone, or better, it is overwhelming.

It may have anti-depressant effects, but i rather use psychedelics for that, and even in studies, psychedelics do it way way way better than MDMA will do.

I have friends that like it, but i dislike it, and like i said before, i wont bash someone because of that.

  • Stimulants:

I'm also not fan of stimulants, because everything i said about 'dopamine'. Not only that, i'm a schizoid, which means i have a quiet nature. Stimulants are drugs that makes you feel energetic, coffee is one of the most famous stimulants. However, i like coffee because it is not only stimulant, but because i like the nootropic effects. But i do like the stimulant effects of coffee because, i don't know, it is "on point", so i think any type of strong stimulant is already beyond the necessary, and i say that as someone that drink 1L of strong coffee per day.

So, the reason to use stimulants is for people that want this "good warm feeling" and "mental rush" effects that coffee gives, but in a higher degree / intensity.

But i can resume stimulants as a "dopaminic drug", and everything i said about dopamine applies here; the difference is that you get lot of energy, and not less energy like alcohol (depressant), and so, this increases even more the dopaminic effect. And that is why sometimes you see more radical behavior from cocaine users than from alcohol users, however, you don't see many cocaine users failing something cognitive (unless too much at a point one can't focus, but not because cognition), so i think the depressant effects of alcohol is what makes one get dumber. However, that does not mean cocaine increase in euphoria wouldn't make some people do stupid things. Also, some people under cocaine can behave, although i think cocaine is a dirty drug, the effects and social ostracization is mostly exaggerated. It is bad, but not THAT bad, i know because i already used it.

Because of that, instead of me getting in an euphoric energetic party-like effect, i get very anxious. Since i think it builds up too much energy inside my body and it releases in form of anxiety because i wont get up and dance and do "party stuff". Because, anxiety can be fruit of inactivity, people that don't do exercises may build up energy from calories and wakefulness, and if this energy is not released, it is released in small anxious acts (some people do one or all of these: nail biting, stomping leg, scratching things, messing with hair, hugging one's own belly, closed body language, doing force and etc).

Doing exercises are a good way to avoid anxiety, so, practice a sport, go to the gym, walk around, whatever. If you are an anxious person, i totally recommend that. As someone that did Muay Thai, that was one of the best things i did in my life, dopamine, endorphin, reduced anxiety, good body, good mind. Exercises also makes our body able to attain more energy, and so i noticed my mental activities would last longer before i get a brain fatigue (also know as cognitive fatigue); yes, you brain gets tired just like our body, that is why after a long day of work you resort to passive activities (like, watching Youtube, listening music and etc) instead of creative activities.

I said all that not only to explain how to avoid anxiety by built-up energy, but also that this also explain why people under stimulant normally have energetic activities, like, dancing, running, jumping and a sudden desire to "do something". And that is it, people get "anxious to do something, too much euphoria", however, extrovert people end up doing those stuffs, introvert people like me may end up just building up anxiety since we wont dance in public (if we dance at all).

Consequently, i think stimulants are very much "drugs for extroverted people".

And so, such effects makes people end up (check glossary) "fried", "trincado" and "espiado". Because it builds too much energy and it is like dancing to music at 300 BPM. Your brain is rushing faster than you can abstract from your thoughts, you get disquiet and that may lead to aggressiveness, lack of self-control and impulsiveness.

  • In conclusion:

The psychedelics i use are not at all comparable with "other drugs" like sober people accuse.

Sober people think that using weed and LSD is to "make one crazy and do crazy retarded things in a party-like effect".

No, that is because sober people have only alcohol as reference of "what is a drug".

In fact, i can't even understand how people use LSD in parties, i kinda understand, because the music and because they are more social than me. But i dislike to use LSD in parties, since, there are too much (and many) stimulus in parties, the music is loud, too many people talking, too many people making you feel that they can do something at any moment, fights, sexuality, stupid chit-chat, low quality talk (if you can talk properly when it have so loud music) and etc...

Psychedelics should be seem more like a "brain booster" than anything else.

I recommend this video, which explain scientifically what happens:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fi66wFfOC-4

COMPARING EFFECTS BETWEEN DIFFERENT PSYCHEDELICS:

In overall, i think there is an equal "mental space" that all (of these) psychedelics leads you to. The difference is how you perceive and feel those mental space, but, if you simple want to reach this "mental space", you shouldn't worry much about "what psychedelic will lead me there", any in this list will do!

I also think that ALL PSYCHEDELICS HAVE THE SAME EFFECTS, so the comparison here should be taken as "degree of effects", when i say a substance "gives this", i'm not saying other substances does not "gives this", but that comparing between substances, one highlights this more.

ARGYREIA:

Argyreia have LSA, which is very alike LSD and can be transformed into LSD (but, as far as i know, it is not worth).

The problem is that Argyreia can give a certain vasoconstriction, and so, it may not be for everyone.

I like to compare Argyreia with an aunt female fox, it have a jovial sagacity, but also this nurturing feminine feeling and treats you like a "member of the family", but wont hug you like your mom would.

The effects are basically identical to LSD, but it does not have that head buzz that feels like an electrical outlet is on. However, the physical effects are annoying, and you may feel like a "balloon" because the vasoconstriction, especially if you overdose yourself. It still have a "buzz" in your head, but more like a "cloud" feeling, which is ignorable.

I once overdosed myself with it and i felt i would need to go to the hospital, no jokes, but i knew techniques to deal with that, so i took a hot shower, eat a garlic tooth, and it began to alleviate and was fine. However, after that, i felt like my body began to "reject it", since the last time i used, i felt the physical effects were worse than i used to have.

I used to use Argyreia a lot, because it was so cheap, there was a week that i called the "7 seeds per 7 days", which i used, well... Seven seeds everyday of the week, but the last days the tolerance had hit me and i felt like i was wasting Argyreia.

I had wonderful very revealing trips with Argyreia and i always use 7 seeds. Sometimes i used 5, but 7 is the only dose i would recommend (depends on the person), everything else is not worth the physical effects that it have.

Also, NEVER EAT RAW ARGYREIA, this is the biggest mistake of every noob, and i still need to find a person that have not done that: to simple put the seeds in the mouth and chew. You are going to regret it a lot, the stomach ache is STRONG. Weed does alleviate the effects, but it does not last long, unless you become a chimney and smoke a lot, and it wont fully alleviate.

I heard ginger helps with such pain and nausea, i'm not sure if that is placebo, but i think it indeed helped me.

If you want to know the best way to use Argyreia, check the 'RECIPES' section, where i teach you a basic lemon extraction that you can do that will eliminate the stomach ache. However, you are still going to feel a certain nausea and vasoconstriction.

That is also why i compare it to a fox, if you treat it well, it wont bite you, if you do a massage (lemon extraction), it will act like "a good dog", but it is still "a wild animal". But if you bite it, it will bite you back.

Because everything that i said, i stopped using Argyreia, it is cheap, but it is worth to just buy Wachuma or mushroom and avoid all that problem.

Also, because, it is prohibited in my country (and most countries), unless as to use to plant it (so people sell it pretending they are selling to plant and not to personal use; the laws are so stupid), which means, they don't sell it with a good quality control (what matters is that the plant grows, and not if it have LSA and was properly conserved). I had moments i bought bad seeds that made NO EFFECT AT ALL, yet, the nausea was still there, so the only effect i had was to be nauseous. If i don't have my own plant and begin to extract LSA myself, i wont use it anymore.

I still recommend people to use to explore all plants and etc. And i had lot of WONDERFUL trips with it, so i'll always be grateful to this plant.

AYAHUASCA:

Ayahuasca effects comes from tryptamine, so if you used mushroom, LSD and etc, it is very alike.

The difference is that Ayahuasca have a moment that it gives you a 'péia', which, just like i said in the glossary, is when you get nauseous from the brew that it start to trigger bad memories to come. The feeling of "survival" kicks in and can lead to "bad-trips". By culture and tradition, this is not seem as a bad-trip, but as a cleanse, especially if you end up puking; this is considered a purge of bad spirits and toxic things inside us. After the péia, however, there is a joyful glow and a feeling of beauty and love that unpack from this same "péia", it is like the péia is the digestive process of the brew, and after you deal with this troublesome process, the only thing left is to enjoy the DMT acting.

And i always say to people that you feel indeed that "you are what you eat", i feel like weed makes you feel like a wax (like hashish), that Wachuma makes you feel like a cactus goo, that LSD is like "flip a switch and a buzz of trip happens"; and so, that ayahuasca makes you feel like you are this brew, that you are smelling from inside like the brew smells, that you are more "watery and 'mud-like'", and this of course affects how you trip, the kind of memory that it invokes, the kind of thoughts that it invokes...

Of course, such primitive type of brew with lot of wood and plants brings you memories about old times and natural habitat. And so, the trip kinda leads to this indigenous feelings indeed.

I think in terms of peace, Wachuma is the stronger one; in terms of love, even if all those psychedelics gives love, tryptamines looks stronger on that. That is why, even if i hate this idea of "female vs male" dichotomy (i don't believe in such stuff; or at least not in such way), in case of Wachuma, i see Wachuma like a warrior protective father that teaches you how to face the world until you find peace, and Ayahuasca like a cuddling mom that cuddles your hair while you lay down on her legs and tell her the problems you had in life. The Ayahuasca trip gives a strong feeling of an "feminine energy", it is indeed like a loving mom; while Wachuma gives a strong feeling of a "masculine energy", like a teaching father.

I also think that the anti-depressant MAOI that have on the brew leads to a higher joyful state than you would expect from other tryptamines.

I REALLY REALLY like Ayahuasca, but i hate the fact that it is prohibited outside of temples in my country. Preparing an Ayahuasca by yourself is also an annoying chore. I had made an analogous using Chaliponga and Syrian Rue, and i kept more than 4h cooking it. For such cases, i really just rather to drop a LSD, mushrooms or Wachuma.

If i end up having my magical garden in the future, i would do some Ayahuasca brews again. But, for now, only if i can't find any other simple-to-use entheogen anymore.

Ayahuasca have a very good 'lombra', like you had a very good sleep.

CHANGA:

Wow, that was BRUTAL!

Together with Salvia, this is the strongest psychedelic i ever used. However, Salvia is more of a deliriant than a psychedelic, so the effects are incomparable.

When is smoked 1/3 of a small one hitter, it instantly made me see kaleidoscopes with open eye, strong ones, not weak ones, it is impossible to ignore; it is that feeling of: "it is over, now i'm on this place and i can't go back or distract, i must accept my fate".

You immediately feel a huge anesthesia, but you also feel weak, so, one shouldn't smoke near glasses or something (even if it is not thaaat weak), you are going to feel a urge to lay down and close your eye.

Then you are going to keep around 20 minutes with very strong closed eye hallucinations, seeing entities, a "neonic fluid", kaleidoscopes, fractals, geometries, hear voices.

Since the effects are so intense, you don't have much time and concentration to reflect much about it, so it is not something that leads you into a deep philosophical state, and more into an awe state.

It is really impressive to know our mind can reach such levels, but i would not advice this for noobs and neither to people that want to use psychedelics to have "revelations" or something (depends on how you perceive the word revelations; like, not deep-philosophical revelations; but maybe revelations about the mechanics of the spiritual), since i think a strong dose of LSD that leads you to hours of trip is more proper for deep insights.

Changa is intimidating, but it is worth a try, i recommend everyone to have at least one trip like that in their lives.

However, from far, it is not something you are going to do with frequency.

The 'lombra' is not bad, but not good either, you keep with you body kinda shaky, especially the legs, with a relative anesthesic feeling. It is kinda hard to do things that requires coordination on the 'lombra', but it does not take long for it to be gone.

LSD:

LSD became my favorite strong psychedelic, it is mathematical, no body issues, easy to use (just drop and go), long trips, there is no mistakes.

LSD, is a tryptamine (at least in the list of TiHKAL), and so the effects are very alike Ayahuasca, Argyreia and Mushroom (especially the last two). I heard lot of people that used LSD and wanted to know what is Ayahuasca, like, in a view that it is "something new" or especial, if that is the case, don't expect too much. I'm from one of the Ayahuasca countries and used it lot of times (i used once each two weeks, sometimes each week, for about five years; math points to 174 times) and i can say that i rather use LSD without thinking twice. I dislike this view of Ayahuasca as "The Queen of Psychedelics", i rather use LSD, Mushroom and Wachuma; any which are as good as Ayahuasca, but simpler to use and to prepare. I think it is because, for "gringos", it seems exotic, and because it have religions made out of it. That does not diminishes Ayahuasca, it is a great psychedelic, it is just overrated and culturally elevated.

LSD gives me what i consider "teenager feeling", i feel with the same energy and sagacity i had when i was 13, i feel a teenage joy and like "i'm swag" (even if i'm not, the opposite of that). The memories and good times with LSD looks a lot like looking emotionally at old photography of your old days.

Because the mathematical control you can have with LSD, i think it is the most ideal for you to have precise trip setting and expected behavior. You can organize very well between a trip that will be "mere fun" from a trip you want to reach spiritual experiences.

The LSD 'lombra' makes you feel pretty joyful, i like the post effect, but may lead some to insignificant annoying head buzz, like your head is turned on in an electric outlet.

LSD have a long lasting effect, normally effects from digested substances peak after 4h and last for 8h until the 'lombra'. Iirc, a study shows that LSD have a stronger bind into the receptors and leads to an effect that last 12h. For such reason, i think a LSD trip should be better prepared, taking in consideration that if a moment of the day you may need to meet a sober person, like a parent, that this may affect the trip (or the person, haha).

In general, the LSD 'lombra' is good, but it feels like a stimulant and i normally have trouble sleeping after a LSD trip, not sure if that is just me (or my friends), but i do feel that always that i use it, and i used A LOT OF LSD.

LSD is not so expensive (where i live), and so, it is really something i'm used to buy together whenever i'm going to buy a good pack of weed.

MUSHROOM:

I used Cambodia psylocibe mushrooms that my friend used to cultivate (they don't do anymore, maybe they are going back to it later; by the way, i also pretend to buy a 'lab' and start cultivating it). I never used mushroom many times.

But i loved it, simple to use, pretty few negative and negligible body effects and etc.

It is very alike LSD and Ayahuasca, Psylocibin is a type of DMT (4-PO-DMT) that you don't need MAOI to make effect. So i would say it makes effects more like Ayahuasca than LSD, but i would say it is perfectly in-between both (especially that maybe the lack of the anti-depressant MAOI makes it loses the intensity of the joyfulness you feel, yet, you still feel a lot of joy).

In fact i would say that Argyreia was the closest to the effects of mushrooms.

I never understood people that talks bad about the taste, it taste like wood mixed with passed saltine crackers (without the salt). It barely makes any nausea, i never truly felt, it was negligible. It may give you a certain feeling of "expansion", like you are inflating, but not like a "balloon" like i said with Argyreia, but like a mushroom opening itself, like bubbles (in fact i had lot of visions of bubbles with mushroom).

There is not much i can say about it, because i never used much, and also because i feel that it is too alike LSD and other tryptamines, that it would be redundant to keep talking about it.

However, as most people comment, the trip normally last for 6h instead of the typical 8h expected from psychedelics that are used orally. It would be the ideal psychedelic to use with a more common frequency and for micro-doses i would say.

SALVIA:

First, Salvia is a deliriant as i previously said.

Second, i never used extractions, only the dried leaves of Salvia in its natural state. I don't even think this would make any difference, the trip is so intense that you are already in another world, can it be stronger than that? And if it is, it wont change anything anyway.

Third, it is important to note that Salvia acts in a "κ-opioid receptor", and not the typical Serotonin 5-HT_2A trip and that "Salvinorin A is the first documented diterpene hallucinogen". And i think it is indeed very different than other trips.

Salvia needs to be smoked in a bong, because it have a very hot smoke, and because it needs to be a big fast huff, or else it barely makes effects. A joint can't do that, and you would not smoke enough hot smoke from Salvia in a pipe. Maybe that is what extractions are for.

The first thing that happened in all trips i had was that i burst laughing, everything was super funny, i couldn't hold my laugh, my stomach was hurting of how much i laughed.

Every time i smoked, i would sweat a little, it was very intense.

I was not having too intense learning about the spiritual, i was more of having a type of experience i can't even believe my brain could have. This defines it very well, i never had another experience like Salvia, neither sober, neither in a dream, it is very unique and bizarre, and you really can't believe it is true and possible. There is so much inside our head that can do so much stuff and we can't trigger it to happen. I think this was the best learning i had with Salvia, that our brain can do some sort of "impossible stuff".

There is nothing comparable to the effects of Salvia, it is something you can't imagine until you use. Before using Salvia, by reading experiences and etc, i tried to map things i experienced with other psychedelics, dreams and etc to imagine and prepare myself of how it would be. But not, when you smoke, it is something very unique and bizarre and different, that is why i think it shows brain capacities that you can't believe you have.

However, it is not a joke, i wouldn't advise to use for fun, it can be super funny, until not, however, i only had good trips with Salvia, and some memorable memories, haha... It makes me scared to think Brugmansia is a deliriant, but even stronger and last the whole day. When i was teen and young adult, i used to think "i need to use Brugmansia (or alike) at least once in my life", and nowadays i think i may never want to use it... At least now i know what is a delirium and what it truly is, i can imagine now what some crazy catatonic schizophrenic people may be under, they must be on such state (just in case, most schizophrenic don't have strong deliriums like Salvia or catatonic ones).

The best explanation i can give is that reality mix with a dream, and while you can still understand reality, you act like in a dream, just like lucid dreams, when you know you are dreaming and you control yourself, but even in that, you still act as the dream guides. However, it is not dangerous in terms of making you do crazy autonomous stuff, you are aware of that. But even aware, your mind play tricks like what you see is real. It is weird, since you know it is not real, but your mind works in a way that is like you are trying to deny that it is not real.

With Salvia you can REALLY see stuff, it still looks onirical and not physical, but you REALLY see it. If you have psychosis like i do, no, it is not like a strong psychotic episode, it is 30x stronger and weirder, it is not even comparable to the type of experience of a psychosis, it is a delirium. It is impossible to describe, it is weird, like, VERY WEIRD, it is bizarre, it is unique. It is a type of mental condition you were never aware you could have, it is like discovering a new taste, seeing a new color, but for mental states.

Everybody had a moment of depression, of joy, of higher sensibility, of higher awareness, but this... This is something you never had, i bet it. You can't even believe it is possible, you can't imagine, don't even try, i know you will try anyway, but, every imagination you are having right now about how would be the trip is a complete lie, complete, i'm sure everything you are trying to think of "how it may be" is 100% wrong, and i know by experience. I tried to define by reading people's experience, what a lie. Absolutely nobody is ready for a Salvia trip, and when i say not ready i'm not saying in terms of "i made a good set, i'm mentally stable, i'm strong", i'm saying in terms of how it will break any expectation you had. I mean, i felt "ready" when i first tried strong psychedelics when i had only experience with weed, but i wasn't ready for Salvia even after being experienced with Wachuma and Ayahuasca.

For example, two trips that i once wrote:

"There was a moment i smoked with A. and L. in my house. I had just smoked, and A. got the bong from my hand and went to the barbecue pit, and he said "i feel like i'm an old chemistry guy", and i looked at him, and my mind overlayed with a scene of a "chemistry guy" with a lab coat holding flasks (instead of the bong), and, even if i knew this was not true, in my mind it was like it was true, just like when you are in a dream, you know you are dreaming, but you still act like the dream is real. And i was then like, "ok, this is not the typical psychedelic".

There was a moment with T. that i smoked and i was looking at the TV color test (like i said, the TV used to be on at all time), and my vision diffracted like the rays of light, and made a feedback reflection of the TV extending in a diagonal direction, like a lens-flare. And then i felt i was stuck inside a glass dome, and i couldn't move, literally, i was trying to move my arms and legs and i couldn't move, it was kinda scary, but once i began to move again, i relaxed".

Things like this NEVER happened to me with any other psychedelic, even when i had heroic doses. That is why i say that Salvia is not a psychedelic, but a deliriant, it is another thing, another world, another type of trip. Salvia is very likely what sober people think LSD users deal with. You shouldn't think you can expect what a Salvia trip will do to you just because you once took 1000ug, no, it is not the same thing, it is DIFFERENT, ok?! Got it?! You can't compare, it is unique, only by using you know, only Salvia does that, ONLY SALVIA! Once again, it is the only diterpene "hallucinogen" we know! All the trips you had was serotonin trip, and not a diterpene trip, don't think you can relate with anything i said, i swear to you, as a very experienced psychonaut, i'm telling you, this is UNIQUE AND YOU DON'T KNOW AND CAN'T EVEN THINK ABOUT A WAY TO COMPREHEND WHAT THIS IS IF NOT BY USING IT. Once again, neither comparing to dreams is a good comparison, only smoking it to know it! It is BIZARRE, and i think everyone should have at least one Salvia trip in their life, just to know how bizarre and far our mind can go.

However, it is the funniest thing EVER, i think this is what sober people think stoner people have, they think you are going to smoke some weed and laugh like a maniac... No, no, no, they are confusing weed with Salvia. Everything is funny, everything (of course, i never saw objectively bad stuff under a trip)... We would laugh at the carpet texture, we would laugh just for the sake of laughing, we would just laugh, and if there was something minimally funny, we would laugh even harder, we would even get worried that our stomach was in so much pain that we wouldn't be able to laugh anymore, but then we would laugh at that too. My friend literally drooled from how much he laughed, his face was red of so much laughter, he was literally looking like a mentally handicapped person, no jokes!

WACHUMA:

Wachuma is from another class, not tryptamine, both are still acting on the same category of 5-HT_2A receptors and etc. Consequently, both leads to the same "mental space" (or any term you may like to use; i think that calling like that seems more technical and unbiased).

Wachuma have also substances that lead to dopamine and, iirc, an empathogen, it also have a substance that is related to TAAR1, which some plants with triptamines also may mess with, but, with less affinity. Consequently, the Wachuma effect, even if leading to the same "mental space", have pretty different effects than the tryptamine plants i used.

Those other effects kind of makes Wachuma to make you more "drunk" and sociable and open, but "drunk" in this case should not be seem as the depressant effect of alcohol, but the dopamine "reward-like" sensation, which may make some people more "party-like", but i disagree, in fact, like i said in the 'Ayahuasca' comparison, even if all those psychedelics gives peace, i think in terms of peace, Wachuma is the stronger one, which means, in such trip you are focused in a peace state and not in a "party state".

I think Wachuma is very synesthesic and have strong visuals that are more realistic, while tryptamines have visuals that are more kaleidoscopic. Both can lead to both types of visual by the way.

I once had a Wachuma overdose that no other psychedelic matched, after this trip i got SURE that God exist, i repeat, SURE THAT GOD EXIST, got it?!

I had very strong LSD trips that touched this ceiling, but never like this. However, since i overdosed, i wont say other substances don't have this potential, but, i don't know how to explain, the visual effects of Wachuma are pretty realistic.

I noticed from reports online and my friends, that it is way easier to have strong pareidolia with Wachuma, or seeing patterns on textures or something. Even on lower doses, you can't help but to see animal faces on walls or etc. Which, i believe to be spiritual, to be honest, i think spirits can guide our hands to draw things on walls subconsciously.

Even if Wachuma does not increase apetite, i would say that from all other psychedelics that does not increase, Wachuma was the best in terms of tasting things. I highly recommend you to eat an apple on the middle of the trip.

WEED:

Since weed have specific receptors [1, 2], there is nothing comparable as weed, and i always use weed in every trip i do, it is like the "salt" in the food. I once had debates about people wanting a substitute because the legality of weed, and we concluded that NOTHING substitutes weed.

I think weed is the psychedelic that gives me the stronger case of Musical Hallucination. Everything i hear turns into music, hearing stuff with weed is so pleasant and musical, even simple environmental noise. It seems like hearing and cannabis are something very connected to each other.

Weed can still have effects expected from typical psychedelics, compared to something like a mini-LSD, or another psychedelic. Even if, of course, weed effects are pretty unique, but, i remember my last LSD trip report and how my enchantment and inner-view would be appearing in the text and mind at the same time, and weed does that too, but more subtle, and it looks like because weed relax and tone down your rhythm, that the way those images and enchantments appears, follows a different rhythm that is more linked to the breath, like, fading in and out and in rhythm with your breath. While on that LSD day it was more like "calculator", and i think it is because LSD is digested, and there was no part of my body that i had a more highlighted sense in relation to others.

Weed is stronger than people think, i used to smoke weed everyday, and i may get back into doing it when i get some money (i'm struggling a little ultimately). But now that i keep about a month without weed, then i buy a pack and smoke everyday, then i smoke a little and i'm like "wow, this is strong, how could i live like i used to? Smoking big joints everyday". I think people are indeed not aware of how strong weed is. When other substances gives you a boost in sensibility, you can feel that very well, lot of times on the peak of LSD i smoked one and i was like WOW!!!

You can see that people that are not used to smoke get pretty high with it, and that is how it should be. I once kept 9 months without smoking and, omg, after smoking it, i was like "wow, so this is how strong it truly is", i remembered the first day i smoked and i felt it was pretty intense.

I ALWAYS use weed in all trips i have, and i highly recommend (going against other psychonauts), because it relax you, and since it gives you a little of this "mental space" that you are going to connect with other psychedelics, you can have a piece of what you will confront, so you can reflect if that is what you really want to do. It is also good to test your sensibility, if you smoke some weed and still feel insensible, go for it, don't think twice (i regretted my hesitance lot of times), but if you already feel too sensible after a weed, take in mind that the trip may be more intense than you expect.

I normally buy weed and smoke for seven days to get adapted to a spiritual state of mind, so when i use a "stronger" psychedelic, i'm already with a step on that direction.

I also noticed that weed is the best "trip trigger". Lot of times i was expecting the effects of a psychedelic, like, LSD or Wachuma to appear, and it wasn't, then i smoked a joint and, boom, there it was, the joint was making "more effect than it should", and then the trip begins.

Weed is literally my favorite psychedelic, because of how versatile it is, i can smoke everyday, i can smoke a lot or a little, the effects are basically instantaneous, you don't need to think too much before using it (unless you are a teenage hiding from your parents or the cops), you can just use and waste it, or use in a especial moment... And because of that, it is the best medicine i know for anhedonia, no other medicine works for me besides weed and psychedelics.

I really really love weed and it is from far my favorite psychedelic. Especially that i'm a music lover and i do music myself, so weed is especial in my heart. <3 <3 <3

It was my first psychedelic, it was what made me see the cognitive potential of psychedelics, and what guided me to all other psychedelics. It was what gave me hope when i was in depression, and i would say i'm only alive because of weed.

Weed makes me feel like i'm more mature than i'm, makes me feel cringe about the things i do sober. Like one friend of mine said and became a quote between us: "I fix the mistakes i do sober when i'm baked" ("Chapado, eu arrumo as coisas que fiz sóbrio").

RISKS:

  • NOTE: In the beginning of the article i recommended you to read my "Why do i use psychedelics?" article. The end of the article have lot of scientific resources, and i'm going to add more by time. To not bloat and repeat things i add on other articles, i highly recommend to check the sources there. In this part of the article, i'm "just going to talk about it, so just trust me bro!", if you want to see if the things i say here have validity, check that article instead!

TOXICITY:

The psychedelics i mention never EVER killed anyone.

Some doses for fatal overdose of LSD, Psylocibe, weed and etc are so out-world-ish that it is impossible to fathom. In some cases you would first die by amount you would consume rather than by the amount of active ingredient that is in it.

https://cannabis.net/blog/funny/this-is-why-you-could-never-overdose-or-die-from-marijuana

For people that use highly intellectual human-readable measures instead of such stupid imperial outdated measures:

1500 pounds = 680.3886 kg.

Since i'm lazy to condense all i already have researched in the past, and any new document i gather i'll add to that another article, i just asked CGPT to make it simple:

Give me the fatal doses for the substances:

THC, CBD, Cannabis in overall, Psylocibe, LSD, Mescaline, DMT.
