Minneapolis, MN – June 10, 2024 – The Minnesota Timberwolves have secured veteran leadership for their backcourt, agreeing to a two-year, $21 million contract extension with point guard Mike Conley Jr., sources confirmed today.
The 36-year-old floor general played a pivotal role in the Timberwolves' deep playoff run this season, averaging 11.3 points, 6.4 assists, and shooting a career-high 44% from three-point range. Known for his steady playmaking and locker room presence, Conley’s extension signals Minnesota’s commitment to continuity as they build around stars Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert.
