As the film began to play, he noticed something strange—hidden in the background of one scene was a cryptic map, drawn on Kevin McCallister’s bedroom wall.

Macaulay’s eyes widened. 'This wasn’t in the original movie!'

Realizing it might be a prank from the set or something more, he called his old friend, director Chris Columbus. But Chris had no idea what he was talking about. That’s when Macaulay knew—this was a clue to something bigger.

Following the map’s hints, Macaulay found himself sneaking onto the old Home Alone set (now a tourist attraction). That night, he sat down and began drafting 'The Culkin Caper'—a heist comedy about a former child star uncovering Hollywood’s greatest secrets. And yes, it included plenty of booby traps.
