🔍 Inline Search — What Is It, How to Enable It, and How to Use It?

If your store is connected to a bot, you can send product cards directly in chats and channels!

What Is It?

Inline Mode is a feature that allows users to interact with bots directly from chats or groups without leaving the chat. On the TGShops platform, this mode allows you to send links to your products in private messages, closed and open groups, as well as channels.

Why Use It?

• To send product cards to potential customers directly in chat
• To let buyers share your products with each other
• To promote your store (e.g., send a product card in a group chat as an ad)

How to Enable It?

1. Go to @BotFather and select your bot.
2. Navigate to Bot Settings - Inline Mode - Turn inline mode on.

Note: Here, you can set a custom placeholder — a phrase that will appear after the bot’s name when searching (e.g., "I’m looking for...", "I want to order...").

How to Use It?

• Type the bot’s username at the beginning of any message in Telegram
• Start entering the product name
• A dropdown list of products will appear — select the one you want and send it in the chat or channel
• The product card will be sent with all the details you provided when filling out the catalog, except for the image
