EMVFoundry 2.0.0.4

EMVFoundry 2.0.0.4 release fixes the following issues:

• Read/Write MDK error when saving.
• Sometimes, writing to disk doesn't work. This is fixed.
• Track 2 for Visa puts ';' and '?'. This is removed, for Visa Track 2 type.
• Dash added when re-loading ARQC data, for country code.
• SmartCard transfer buffer wasn't cleared on last run, so previous data was present. This is now fully cleared.
• In chip - ARQC would give wrong values due to changing TVR. This is fixed.
• In chip - ARQC wouldn't generate correct ARQC based on NONCE/Unknown Number error. This is fixed.
• ARQC would generate wrong padding. For example Belgium would be "BEL-52" instead of "BEL-0052". This now is fixed.
• Title of this post says "EMVFoundry 2.0.0.3", it should be "EMVFoundry 2.0.0.4".

ARQC Save and Loading Intermediate Data

ARQC now allows saving and loading of ARQC data. This is for Payment Processor Analysts, Payment Checks Analysts to check ARQC, ARPC results.

This allows our customers to load or save ARQC data for further analysis, and/or loaded to other software for data-processing.

Card Not Present Bug

Error with "Card Not Present." (CNP). This error is fixed on writing. This error occurs when there are multiple ATRs.

Error with "Delete Previous install", or "Install -525" when writing card.

This error is fixed.

As a work-around in pre-2.00, please run the ATR tool to reset the applet.

ATM Logger

In EMVFoundry 2.0.0.2, the in-chip applet has an ATM logger.

• 00E9000000 - ATM Switch Off
• 00E9000100 - ATM Switch On
• 00E9000200 - ATM Switch Check Status - returns 00 for OFF, 01 for ON
• 00E9000300 - Number of ATM instructions logged
• 00E9000800 - Applet Version. Usually 0304
• 00E90004XX - Emit ATM logged instruction. where XX is 0 to the number of logged instructions called from 00E90000300.
• 00E9009900 - Number of in-chip applets contained in applet inside SmartCard. Usually corresponds to the number of applets in-chip.

X2 ISTs

EMVFoundry ISTs cannot be loaded into X2.

That is:

X2 to EMVFoundry - compatible. EMVFoundry reads 0A, 0B commands from X2.

EMVFoundry to X2 - incompatible. EMVFoundry uses 0E commands.X2 doesn't understand 0E commands.

Fix for multiple ATC numbers error.

Some customers ran into ATC numbering errors, these errors are fixed.

1) Prevent customers from entering Alphabet characters instead of numeric for card-number.

2) Fix for save error, where customer changes data and it don't save, so when write, customer complains data not saved. This is fixed.

3) Search is not reset after a search is performed.

4) IST Scripting: Cut, Copy and Paste hotkeys is now supported.

5) IST Scripting: Selected length in editor toolbar is now supported. You can see how many characters are selected.

6) Currency and Country code: only numbers can be added. 4 digit number. You can no longer type in "EN", "USD". You must type in the ISO 4 digit country or currency code.
