And these robots have shown high cleaning efficiency at an inexpensive cost, which caused great popularity. The new L10 Pro is no exception. The robot vacuum cleaner is equipped not only with a lidar for navigation, but also with a 3D sensor for detecting objects. In addition, it has a wet cleaning function and a powerful engine that provides a suction power of up to 4000 Pa. With all this, the robot costs from 350-380 dollars. And during the sales period, the price drops to an incredible 350 dollars (link at the end of the article). Next, we will take a closer look and test the Dreame Bot L10 Pro, after which we will express our own opinion: is it worth buying this robot vacuum cleaner. So let's go!

Equipment
The robot vacuum cleaner came in this branded box:

In addition to the robot itself, it contains:
- Charging base.
- Power adapter.
- Operating instructions and short user guide in English.
- Wet cleaning nozzle with pre-installed microfiber cloth.

There are no additional accessories and spare consumables included. And this is one of the reasons for the low cost of the robot. So when ordering, I recommend that you immediately buy at least a spare HEPA filter and a microfiber cloth.
Appearance
Let's move on to considering the appearance. Dreame Bot L10 Pro is black. The plastic is of sufficient quality and the assembly is at a high level. The body height is standard for lidar robots and is about 97 mm.

In front we see a front-facing 3D sensor on a mechanical bumper and a pair of laser sensors on different sides of the camera. This system allows not only to identify objects on the floor, but also to build a three-dimensional map of the room in the brain of the robot. At least that's what the manufacturer says.

The lidar itself is equipped with a mechanical button that prevents the robot vacuum cleaner from getting stuck under the furniture. There are three mechanical control buttons on the body: forced return to the base for charging, start-pause and spot cleaning mode. The engine vents are located at the back.

The dust container is located under the top cover. It is quite roomy, at 570 ml. A brush is stored next to the container to clean the dust collector and center brush from coiled hair and wool. Filtration system based on mesh and HEPA filter.

Let's see how the Dreame Bot L10 Pro is arranged from the bottom. We see that as many as 6 fall protection sensors are installed around the perimeter, this is a plus. There is one side brush: three-beam, quick-detachable.

The central brush is bristly-petal. It can be disassembled on both sides for cleaning from coiled hair and wool, this is a plus.

Closer to the back, we see the terminals for identifying the installed wet cleaning nozzle. A pump is installed inside it for electronic regulation of the water supply. The reservoir holds up to 270 ml of water according to the manufacturer's statement. We checked this moment. Indeed, exactly 270 ml fit inside the nozzle.

There are latches on the sides. The napkin itself is attached to the nozzle by means of Velcro and a special groove, as it is implemented in other robotic vacuum cleaners of the Xiaomi family. By the way, it is important to note that the napkin itself is fluffy over the entire area.

In general, the Dreame Bot L10 Pro is assembled quite well and thoughtfully. There are no comments on the assembly.

The characteristics of this robot vacuum cleaner are very impressive. Especially the suction power, which we will definitely check on the stand. Move on.
Functions
Now let's take a look at the functionality of the Dreame Bot L10 Pro, which is incorporated in the Mi Home mobile application. Connecting the robot to the app went smoothly.

Let's show the functionality after building the map and saving it in memory. As you can see, the robot has built an accurate map of the room and saved it in memory, automatically zoning into rooms. There are three modes of operation on the main operating panel.

The first is cleaning the right rooms. You can choose not only the rooms where the robot should clean, but also the number of passes for each of the rooms (one or two). In automatic mode, Dreame Bot L10 Pro will remove all available area. In the zone cleaning mode, you can select the place where the robot should carry out local cleaning with a rectangle on the map. Again, once or twice.
In the map editing mode, we see that the robot supports storing several unique maps in memory, which is a plus. When working with a map, you can combine several rooms into one or vice versa, divide a room into additional zones. In addition, you can give a name to each room. It is also possible to set virtual walls on the map, restricted areas and even separate restricted areas for wet cleaning.

In the main settings of Dreame Bot L10 Pro, you can turn on and off the 3D sensor for detecting objects, adjust the volume and language of voice notifications. By the way, this robot vacuum cleaner speaks English.

Additionally, it is possible to turn on and off notifications about the status of the robot vacuum cleaner, activate the automatic power increase on carpets, continue cleaning after recharging at the base and turn on the do not disturb mode at a specified time.
Another of the functions is the inclusion of reminders that you need to pause the wet cleaning process in order to rinse the napkin.
The Dreame Bot L10 Pro provides for adjusting the suction power and the degree of wetting of the napkin. In addition, you can set up cleaning according to a schedule by choosing the rooms you want, the time and day of the week, as well as the suction power and the degree of wetting of the napkin. True, it is impossible to set up the cleaning mode individually for each room. Some robots are capable of this too.
Also, in the corresponding sections, you can check the cleaning log, track the status of consumables, manually control the robot vacuum cleaner, enable the search for the robot by a sound signal, change the name of the robot, provide control to other family members, update the firmware if necessary, and study the reference section. In general, this model has plenty of functions and settings. In addition, you can control the robot through the voice assistant.
Navigation
It is much more important to check how the Dreame Bot L10 Pro handles our tests. First of all, let's check the navigation of the robot vacuum cleaner in difficult conditions. First, the robot passes the perimeter of the room, after which it passes the entire available area with a snake and returns to the base. He did not get stuck on the dryer, he separately swept around all four chair legs and around the box, after which he successfully returned to base. For cleaning 10 sq.m. the premises took only 10 minutes. The navigation of this model is excellent. The test passed successfully.

As for cleaning the entire area of the house, after the first acquaintance with the room and building a map, the robot zoned it into rooms. Thereafter, every time you start the Dreame Bot L10 Pro, it cleans the rooms one after the other. First, driving through each room along the perimeter, and then by a snake. For cleaning 30 sq.m. it took 27 minutes. This test also passed successfully.

In addition, we will check how the 3D sensor works and how well it detects objects on the floor. For the test, we laid out a stuffed toy, sneaker, sock, charger and an imitation of a pet surprise on the floor in a confined space. These are basic household items that can interfere with the cleaning cycle and cause the robot to stop abruptly.

So the only thing that the Dreame Bot L10 Pro did not cope with was just an imitation of pet excrement. He did not recognize this object. But on the other hand, the robot successfully traveled around the rest. On the map, he marked some of the objects with dots:

It is worth noting that this model does not have the ability to photograph objects, as is implemented in the Roborock S6 MaxV . As a result, the 3D sensor fulfills its main task, but not perfect yet. I think that the database of objects in memory will constantly accumulate and, based on self-learning, the robot will be able to recognize animal surprises in the future.
But in any case, the navigation of this robot vacuum cleaner is much better than that of conventional lidar models, for which it should be given credit. Especially at this cost.
Suction power
Now let's see how the Dreame Bot L10 Pro handles sucking debris from crevices of different depths. Let me remind you that the manufacturer declared a suction power of 4000 Pa and this is the highest figure among all Xiaomi robots.

Indeed, the robot vacuum cleaner showed a good result. He effectively coped with sucking debris from a slot with a depth of 2 and 4 mm. The marks of 6 and 8 mm were not passed, but at one point the robot was able to completely suck out debris from a slot 10 mm deep. The Dreame Bot L10 Pro really boasts very high suction power and is sure to make it to our list of the most powerful robotic vacuum cleaners on the market . The test passed successfully.
Dry cleaning on laminate
The quality of dry cleaning on laminate flooring is also pleasing. The robot was able to remove all debris from the floor, including wool and hair. Only the corners remained uncleared. But this is not yet achievable for all round robotic vacuum cleaners on the market.

But most of the debris, including hair and wool, is collected in a dust collector. They did not wrap around the brush, most likely because of the powerful suction. This is a plus.
Cleaning the carpet
On the carpet, the Dreame Bot L10 Pro also showed the highest cleaning quality. Just look at how he cleaned the carpet from hair, wool and dry debris:

In my experience, the robot has shown one of the best results on the stand.
Wet cleaning
There are also no complaints about wet cleaning. The Dreame Bot L10 Pro was able to wipe off the dried-up dirt from the floor and did not leave streaks. A small area with a dirty strip remained along the plinth, but this result is shown by all other analogues that we had on the test.

Well, in general, the robot does not wipe the floor too abundantly, even at the maximum water supply level. So it won't ruin wood flooring. Wet cleaning is implemented quite well and is suitable for delicate floor wiping.
Passage of obstacles
The obstacle passability of this model is good. The robot vacuum cleaner runs over a 2 cm nut without any problems. This is a plus.

Passage of dark surfaces
But the Dreame Bot L10 Pro is afraid of black coatings, recognizing them by height differences. This is the first weighty remark.

You will have to glue the sensors from the bottom so that the robot moves over the black areas of the floor. But this is allowed only if there are no differences in height. Otherwise, the robot will not be able to recognize them.
Noise level
Well, in conclusion, we measure the noise level of the Dreame Bot L10 Pro in different modes. At the minimum suction power, the noise level does not exceed 59 dB, at an average power the indicator is within 62 dB. In the intensive cleaning mode, the noise level reaches 65 dB, and in Turbo mode, the peak value was 73 dB.

The high noise level is due to the similar power, so if you want the robot to vacuum efficiently, you will have to start it in your absence.
Summing up
The Dreame Bot L10 Pro has been reviewed and tested in detail.
What can I say in the end about Dreame Bot L10 Pro after detailed acquaintance and testing. This robot has the following advantages:
- High-quality navigation and floor object recognition system.
- Very high suction power.
- Excellent dry cleaning performance on both hard floors and carpets.
- Good build quality.
- Well thought out design.
- All advanced functionality in the application.
- Good obstacle passability.
- The quality of wet cleaning is above average.
- Capacious battery, thanks to which the robot is able to clean large areas.
- Well, just an excellent ratio in terms of price, quality and functionality.
Among the shortcomings, one can single out the fact that:
- At the moment, the robot does not recognize all the objects that it would like it to recognize.
- The active camera cannot be connected remotely from a smartphone for remote home monitoring.
- Fear of dark coatings.
- Meager equipment.
I think that the first two points can be corrected by the manufacturer in the near future, but in any case, for its money, this is the best robot vacuum cleaner on the market at the time of the review. It has high-quality navigation, a powerful engine, a wet cleaning function and all the advanced functionality in the application. If you manage to order it for 350 dollars, as at the moment of the start of sales, this will be the most profitable purchase in terms of a robot vacuum cleaner.
