Disney Announces New Theme Park in Abu Dhabi, Set to Open in 2030

Abu Dhabi, UAE – May 8, 2025 – In a landmark deal between Disney Parks and the Abu Dhabi government, a brand-new Disney theme park will be built in the UAE capital, marking the entertainment giant's first major expansion into the Middle East. The highly anticipated project, named Disneyland Abu Dhabi, is expected to open in 2030 as part of the city’s growing tourism and entertainment district.

Unique themed lands, including a Marvel Superhero Zone and a Frozen-inspired winter wonderland.

A one-of-a-kind 'Arabian Nights' section, blending Disney storytelling with Middle Eastern folklore.

Luxury hotels, shopping districts, and a state-of-the-art water park.

Boosting Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Vision

The park aligns with Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy by investing in entertainment and tourism. It will join other major attractions like Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, and the upcoming Universal Studios Dubai.
