We have no even good bakeries in the Beverly area except Henry's which is now Crosby's. Best jelly, plain and apple cider donuts and great other pastries.
Their cheddar cheese spread is great as is their bean dip. Extensive cheese selection and great prepared foods. Meats are pricey but they do have sales and the quality... The donuts are the best around. That's all you need to know ! Be sure to get there early to get donuts especially the Boston cream ! Henry's has amazing prepared food. We used them for my baby shore and everything was delicious. We also stop in regularly to get things for dinner. I love their Mac and cheese!! I regularly shop at Henry's. Their meats and poultry are outstanding and they have never failed me with a Thanksgiving turkey or a Christmas standing rib roast. Their catering department is equalled by none. They are friendly and easy to work with. If I have a last minute dinner party, I can rely on them to pull me through! Best little supermarket there is. Their bakery, superb, many tasty items, and the only place I will buy a wild blueberry pie because theirs REALLY tastes homemade. Oh, their hermits, with milk...or tea...or coffee.....
Also, their superior casseroles and other "homemade" offerings, though a bit pricey, are worth it for a quick tasty meal. Actually it can help your pocketbook... Henry's is the greatest...Prices are on the high end but the quality of their homemade dishes are excellent. they also have a great bakery department which will satisfy any tastebud..... I am a big fan of Henry's. One of the best bakeries on the North Shore. There muffins are better than homemade and their cinnamon raison coffee roll is to die for, but get there early as they sell out fast. They also have a great deli with a wonderful selection of sandwiches. Last Saturday was going out sailing for... Henry's is a Supermarket with prepped food available for sale. Lines form early the day before thanksgiving for Baked goods and other items. The egg salad and chicken sandwiches cannot be beat! Don't plan on eating here as there are no tables or chairs inside or out!! I've shopped here for many years. Great meats, produce, and store made items.
