How to use for copy-paste operations?
First, follow the steps to import simpler settings:
❶ Open one of these settings file in browser
👉ⓐ https://write.as/27zipjsnkc8cw
❷ Copy the contents of this file.
❸ Long press on ⚙. You will see several options. Without lifting your finger, slide the finger to "Settings" option.
❹ Open Misc. » Import|Export » Settings.
❺ Click on Paste button. Then click OK button. Then press the back button of the phone to close the settings.
❻ Next time when you use keyboard, look and settings of the keyboard will be changed. Suggestion bar will now have some useful buttons like keyboard changer, hide keyboard, word prediction on/off buttons, clipboard, buttons to insert date & time, etc.
The clipboard available with the keyboard can remember up to 16 previous copied texts. But note these entries are not permanently saved. They are removed when you change keyboard, or when you restart your phone, or when you restart your keyboard (using "Swipe from Gear key ⚙" » Restart). So, if you want to keep previous entries more reliably, you can also use some dedicated clipboard manager app from the several of these shared here.
In addition to the suggestion bar button, the clipboard can be accessed in two more ways when you want to paste previously copied entries:
ⓐ Tap on Gear key ⚙ of the keyboard. Edit utilities layout will open. This layout contains the clipboard button 📖 in the top row.
ⓑ Place your finger on the gear key ⚙ of the keyboard. You will see several options. Without lifting finger, swipe from gear key to the Clipboard option.
