Then, on the supposed "other" side (same side with a different face), we have people whose interest in Adam Lanza (etc.) extends only so far as to wondering why Adam was so dangerous an extra in the move of their life. I would say that these two sides deserve each other. After all, to paraphrase Islam: If Adam Lanza does not matter, then no one matters.
