We will probably never get the same prices if we go back on our own. Tanzania does grow some spices black pepper, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, vanilla but we suspect that most of those sold in the market are not local. First, the packaging looks just like the spices we bought in India, and the prices are way higher than anything else produced in Tanzania.
