Werewolf 4.3 Updates 🐺

Hey wuffers, the @werewolfbot just got a bunch of cool new updates that have been tested on the beta bot until now :D

New Roles

We now have 2 new roles that you can play with! What? Only two? Yes, sadly the thief has to be temporarily disabled (on both the beta and the main bot): During our beta testings we noticed that the Thief 😈 needs some refining, it currently didn't work out so well for the game balancing. Also, there were bugs, such as double roles, and nobody would like to fight 2 serial killers at once, would you? :P We will try to fix everything, but if you have suggestions on how the thief could be made a fairer role with less confusion, please let us know at @greywolfsupport! But for now, we proudly present you the two other roles that are now available on both bots!

1.: The Wise Elder 📚 (Villager Team)

The Wise Elder 📚 is wise and old... Thus he has much experience in fighting with wolves. If the wolf pack tries to eat the wise elder, he will survive the attack... for the first time. So if they really want to eat him up, they need to visit him a second time. But attention: the Wise Elder is respected by everyone in the village. If the gunner or the hunter shoot him, they will lose all their powers out of sorrow and become a lowly villager (Though in the case of the hunter, it will be the last thing he does). Cult Conversion Chance: 30%

2.: The Pacifist ☮️ (Villager Team)

"Why can't you all just be peaceful?" The cries of the Pacifist ☮️ are unheard most of the time. But now he has prepared: He wrote a heartfelt speech about peace and why lynching others is bad and that wolves are just animals that are hungry. Once per game, he can stand up and express himself this way - and the villagers will believe him and lynch nobody for the next time. But since the danger isn't banned, they will soon forget about it and continue trying to get rid of the evil in their village... Cult Conversion Chance: 80%

New Achievements

We present you a total of 13 new achievements, chosen from the best suggestions that you players gave us - thanks to everyone who suggested us these cool achievements!

Village Team

Am I Your Seer? - As the fool, correctly spot the beholder

Demoted by the Death - As the hunter, shoot the wise elder with your final shot and die as lowly villager

Wasted Silver - As the blacksmith, spread your silver dust the same day that the sandman sings

Trustworthy! - As the wolf man, survive and win the game after being checked by seer

Just a Beardy Guy..? - As the wolf man, be infected by the alpha wolf and become a real werewolf. AWOOOOOOO!

Now I'm Blind - As the oracle, fail to get a vision because everyone else has the same role.

Every Man for Himself! - As the pacifist, save yourself from being lynched (at least 50% of votes have been cast for you already)

Wolf Team

Strongest Alpha - As the alpha wolf, successfully infect the serial killer!

Time to retire... - As the sorcerer, be the last person alive in the village and lose the game

Other Team / Unrelated to Teams

Deep Love - As the doppelgänger, choose your lover as role model. What a deep love <3

Seeing between Teams - Be in a seer/sorcerer couple

That Came Unexpected! - As tanner, be lynched and win the game when there are only 3 persons left

My Sweetie so Strong! - Be in love with the pacifist, and get saved from being lynched by them (at least 50% of votes have been cast for you already)

Secret Lynch Settings

Group Administrators have new options in the /config menu that are related to the secret lynch setting (where you can't see who votes for who):

1.: Show Votes Count

With this setting enabled, you will see how many votes each player has at the end of the lynch phase. The message will look like this:

2 votes went to PlayerB

2.: Show Voters

With this setting, you will see who voted for who - but only after all votes have been cast. The message will look like this:
