That was the unofficial motto of the Walmart Supercenter in Hollow’s End, a small town where nothing ever happened… until Easter night, 2023.

The Incident

Most stores in Hollow’s End closed for Easter Sunday. Families gathered for dinner, kids hunted eggs, and the streets were quiet—except for the glowing blue sign of Walmart, its automatic doors sliding open and shut like the maw of some hungry beast.

At 11:47 PM, cashier Marissa Lane clocked in for the overnight shift. She was the only one scheduled—budget cuts. The store was eerily empty, the usual hum of fluorescent lights replaced by an unsettling silence. Then, at midnight, the intercom crackled to life.

'Attention Walmart associates… cleanup on aisle 13.'

But there was no manager on duty.

The Bloody Discovery

Marissa hesitated before walking to aisle 13—the toy section. Between the rows of stuffed animals and action figures, she found a single, mutilated Easter bunny plush, its white fur stained crimson. And beneath it, a scrawled message in what looked like blood:

'He is risen.'
