When planning a mountain route, even in the form of independent trip, it is crucial to have as much information about the route as possible, preferably directly from people with significant mountaineering experience and up-to-date information about the route itself and the area.
This is an important stage of professional preparation for any mountaineering or hiking route in the mountains, regardless of whether it is planned to be undertaken with a guide or independently.
The clearer and more precise is your understanding of what awaits you on the way to your goal, the more likely you will be able to achieve it. And, most importantly, that ensures the higher physical safety of you and your companions along the way.
With 30 years of extensive experience of climbing and organizing mountain trips, from simple treks to the most challenging technical climbs, I offer you a virtual guided ascent to the mountain of your dream.
We will discuss all necessary preparation elements via group videoconference:
- Route selection
- Evaluation of obvious and hidden risks
- Logistics and detailed planning
- Analysis of technical route elements and ascent tactics
- Equipment lists
- GPS route track with section-by-section commentary
The "Virtual Ascent" will be illustrated with photos and videos from the route. Participants will have access to GPS coordinates and track, filed equipment lists, and personalized preparation recommendations.
