MCS AlexClimbAlex (Alexey) Trubachev, born in 1975, native of Moscow, Russia. Since 1998, as part of his own international project MCS AlexClimb, he works as an independent mountain guide, specializing in technically difficult mountaineering routes.
More than 25 years of experience in the field of sports and commercial mountain activities (mountaineering, rockclimbing and iceclimbing). In 2002, Alex successfully led an international memorial expedition to Mount Ushba in Caucasus along the Gabriel route, TD+ grade, that event was actively covered by the media of Russia and Georgia (Information sponsors - NTV and ITAR TASS).
From 2002 to the present time, Alex Trubachev has been heading the MCS AlexClimb School of Mountaineering and Rock Climbing, the most known commercial organization in Russia professionally engaged in teaching sports climbing and mountaineering techniques. MCS AlexClimb is the only project of this profile (2019) operating in Russia according to the quality standards of the international mountaineering association UIAA.
Alex Trubachev is a rock and ice climbing coach with experience in conducting international training programs and specialized expeditions (Norway, Spain, Portugal, Madagascar, Balearic, Canary, Lofoten Islands, Kalymnos, Sicily, Israel, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, Cuba, Thailand , Vietnam, New Zealand, Australia, etc.)
Alex Trubachev successfully combines his professional activities as an elite private mountain guide with the work of a rockclimbing coach (with more than 10,000 hours of coaching experience). During the seasonal breaks between mountaineering expeditions, Alex conducts numerous training sessions and master classes on teaching the techniques of sport rockclimbing and iceclimbing.
Alex Trubachev is the author and developer of his own successful method of teaching of rockclimbing, which has been used in the work of the MCS AlexClimb School for more than 20 years. During this time, more than 1,200 rockclimbing enthusiasts were involved in the rockclimbing and trained in safe techniques.
Alex Trubachev - the author of the method of therapeutic gymnastics based on the rockclimbing techniques - it was used for the treatment and prevention of diseases and injuries of the spine, also this method was used to work with the children with cerebral palsy.
As an expert consultant, Alex Trubachev took part in the municipal projects for the development and integration of outdoor rockclimbing into the structure of recreational regions (Cuba 2003, Armenia 2007, Georgia 2014)
During the period of his professional activity as a mountaineering guide Alex Trubachev did more than 500 mountaineering ascents in Europe, Caucasus, Pamirs, Tien Shan, Altai and Kamchatka, in Africa and South America, in Australia and New Zealand.

Since 2012, Alex Trubachev has specialized in mountaineering in South America - Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador - leading on the expeditions and mountaineering routes, including medium and high difficulty - Huascaran, Alpamayo, Ranrapalca, Illimani, Huayna, Fitzroy, Cerro Torre, Ojos del Salado, Aconcagua.
As part of the MCS AlexClimb project, Alex Trubachev is actively involved in establishing and maintaining contacts with the foreign mountaineering and climbing organizations, jointly developing educational, training and commercial programs for mountaineering and outdoor rockclimbing in accordance with the international ecological and environment protection norms.
Alex has repeatedly been involved in organizing, conducting or consulting on alternative private search and rescue operations - in cases of incorrect or ineffective work of the local rescue services (Caucasus, Kamchatka).
Alex Trubachev is the author of numerous publications on mountaineering techniques and tactics, on the safety of mountain sports, environment protection issues and accident analysis.
