Made in the heyday of the big bands, fashioned by the hands of skilled craftsmen , and blown hard during all-night cooking sessions...vintage mouthpieces offer something to just about every level of player. The best of the hard rubber, bell metal, and other specialty materials respond in ways made famous by artists from Coleman Hawkins to Joshua Redman, and are capable of making beautiful music in any kind of style.
Short shank, round chamber, perfect bite plate, with original ligature and reed guard. Original silver plate is in excellent condition, facing is perfect.
Los Angeles Diamond model stamped "Rico Products LTD". Serial 18360, probably from the mid-1960s. Medium facing, small chamber. Small wear on the bite plate, rails and tip are good. Wonderful sounding mouthpiece with a little brighter tone than a Model A or B.
Beautiful condition 1920s Henri Selmer alto piece with laurel wreath and metal band at the shank. Table B is stamped on the table. Excellent rails and tip and facing appears original. Large round chamber.
A rare metal Airflow Selmer with deep fluted sides and a medium round chamber. Top of the mouthpiece is flat and inscribed Fabrique en France par H. SELMER & C. Plating on table has corroded so a trip to the refacer would be needed. Cool original ligature is included.
A metal Selmer Jazz model with C* stamped on top. Silver plate is like new. Chamber is horse shoe shaped. Facing and table are original and excellent.
This is a Selmer Soloist Alto medium long piece that has been cleaned up and buffed. It has the scroll shank but all stampings have been buffed off the top. Horse shoe shaped chamber. It would make an excellent blank to have customized by a refacer.

V- or bullet-style drop-off before chamber; perfect bite plate.
Gentle rollover baffle, V-shaped chamber.
Great Neck, NY, facing stamped on table, serial no. 43943.
Silver plated, scroll shank, C* stamped on top. Has fluted sides, a small, round chamber, and perfect bite plate. Comes with ligature.
