Then, at 2:17 PM, a video surfaced on a fringe Telegram channel. A masked figure stood before a Soviet flag, holding the medal.

'This was earned by blood, not by cowards,' the distorted voice declared. 'We will return it to those who deserve it.'

The Race Against Time

With the parade underway, Volkov tracked the signal to an abandoned subway tunnel beneath Moscow. There, he found Petrov’s grandson—and a chilling plan. The group intended to melt down the medal during Putin’s speech, live-streaming its destruction as a 'purge of modern weakness.'

A firefight erupted in the tunnels. By the time Volkov reached the leader, the blowtorch was already lit.
