Vanessa Hudgens’ Most Fashionable Braless Moments Over the Years: See Photos!

Everyone knows that Vanessa Hudgens is one of the most fashionable talents in Hollywood today. For years, the former Disney Channel star was praised for her effortless Bohemian outfits. However, Vanessa also loves getting glammed up for the red carpet! Either way, the Salinas, California, native is a big fan of going braless . She’s even admitted it!
“Free the nipple! Bras are uncomfortable,” the actress told Glamour UK in December 2021. She continued, “If you feel more comfortable and ready to take on the world in a bra, then by all means wear one. But for me personally, they’re just not comfortable. I don’t want to feel restricted. Women used to have to be more covered up. And I feel like it’s a lot more accepting of women to express themselves how they feel fit.”
In fact, on November 15, Vanessa stunned in a little black dress with a plunging neckline while attending the Tick, Tick… Boom! movie premiere with her boyfriend, Cole Tucker . The actress, who plays Karessa Johnson in the musical drama, amplified her look with a diamond necklace, earrings and ring.
Since catapulting to fame after starring in 2006’s High School Musical , Vanessa has slowly but surely learned to navigate stardom. “Over the past couple of years, I’ve really come into my own,” she told Shape magazine during an October interview.
“When you’re fully accepting of who you are, and you stop trying to suppress pieces of yourself, you can conquer the world. I love how silly I am. I love how excitable I am. And I love that I’m finally at a place where I can access those things,” Vanessa continued. “Even the quirky stuff that might have been shut down by other people in the past, like being ridiculous with my friends, those are things I’m now allowing to thrive. For some people, I’m way too much. But I love who I am, and there’s such power in that.”
In January 2020, Vanessa went through a highly publicized breakup with fellow actor Austin Butler . The pair dated for nearly nine years before calling it quits. Come February 2021, Vanessa went public with Cole — and she looks more in love than ever!
“Where I am now is better than I could have dreamed of. My relationship with myself is something I value deeply, even if things don’t always go the way I expected,” Vanessa gushed. “For instance, my mom got married at 25, so I always thought I was going to be married at 25. That didn’t happen. But I’m in such an amazing, healthy relationship, so it doesn’t matter.”

It's been more than 10 years since Vanessa Hudgens' nude photos were leaked to the public, and the actress is opening up about how that time made her feel.
In 2007, 18-year-old Hudgens' privacy was compromised after a nude photo of her surfaced online about a year after "High School Musical" was released. At the time, the Disney actress issued a statement apologizing to fans and expressing regret over taking the photos.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan UK published Friday, Hudgens said it was a traumatizing time for her.
"It was a really traumatizing thing for me. It’s really (expletive) up that people feel like they are entitled enough to share something that personal with the world," the "Bad Boys for Life" actress said.
Hudgens noted how fans can feel entitled to a celebrity's privacy.
"As an actor, you completely lose all grip of your own privacy and it’s really sad," she said. "It feels like that shouldn’t be the case, but unfortunately if enough people are interested, they’re going to do everything they can to get to know as much about you as they can, which is flattering, I guess, but then people take it too far and end up divulging things that should be personal."
Hudgens lamented a lack of boundaries between fans and celebrities, in part because of television's reach.
"I think that is because there’s a disconnect when you see your favorite actress on the screen, and you see them now on your TV in your homes, and you can watch them whenever you want," she said. "There’s almost – I don’t want to say lack of respect because that sounds negative – but it just makes you feel like you know them even though you don’t."
The actress, who's now 31, also spoke about the #MeToo movement and shared that even though she's been in inappropriate situations, she doesn't shy away from letting people know they're making her feel uncomfortable.
"I have been in situations where I’ve been talked to in inappropriate ways, but right then, in that moment, I was the person to just say, 'No. Why would you say that? You’re completely out of line,' " Hudgens said. "I’m the type of person in any situation, whether it’s an audition or in work, if I feel uncomfortable, I’m going to walk away or let that person know they’re making me feel uncomfortable. Then, if they don’t respect that, they can go (expletive) off. … As long as you hold your ground, no one will bring you down."

Opening up to Cosmopolitan U.K. for a February cover story, the actress, 31, addressed the 2007 invasion of privacy she experienced as an 18-year-old, which resulted in revealing photos of herself posted to the internet.
