Under(her)tail: Love and Lust is an Undertale fangame where the player control an adult human falling into a sexier Underground. The player will find themselves staying in different areas of the Underground for days at a time, meeting and interacting with a diverse cast of monsters from each area. Combat (Encounters) involves the player navigating through bullet hell patterns in order to successfully fuck enemies. During Encounters, the player can opt to sexually satisfy enemies with in order to leave them Pleased, or overstimulate them until they’re Mindblown, corrupting their personalities as a result. These choices affect the game, with the dialogue, characters, and story changing based on outcomes.
A prototype of the game's combat system is currently in development, followed by a prototype of the first area (The Ruins).
The primary gameplay loop of Under(her)tail: Love and Lust involves spending three days in each area of the Underground (from Ruins to New Home), and interacting with the characters living in each area. Each day features a linear adventure set outside of the area hub, sandwiched in between two segments of non-linear exploration set within the hub.

Furthermore, each day progresses the stories of the area’s cast, which can be influenced by the player’s actions.

Each area focuses on a few key characters , one of which will become the player’s Partner during their three-day stay. The Partner’s story arc will be the most prominent in their area, and the player will be able to influence it the most.
The primary way for players to influence characters is through sexual Encounters (combat), where the player can opt to leave them Pleased, Very Pleased, or Mindblown (resulting in corruption of personality). Meanwhile, the Partner will also participate in Encounters, playing an offensive/defensive/supporting role to assist the player. Outside of Encounters, actions and choices made by the player can change the outcome of a character’s story arc, for better or worse.

When three days have passed, the player will be given the choice to travel to the next area and continue their journey, or Settle in the current area and end their journey early. Settling results in an ending unique to each area that changes depending on the player’s actions: the player may have promised to settle down with a particular monster, and or made arrangements for casual sex with other monsters.

There are three overall Routes in the game: Lover, Lustful, and Neutral. The Lover Route requires players to leave every monster Very Pleased post-Encounter, the Lustful Route requires players to leave every monster Mindblown, and the Neutral Route is attained if the player does not meet the requirements of the previous two.

The game will follow a similar structure to Undertale, where the human falls into the Underground and travels through different areas to eventually reach the exit. However, this story will be expanded with new characters, conflicts, and sex (of course). Furthermore, there are differences between UHT:LL and Undertale/the original fan comic by TheWill.

Setting : The game is set in an altered version of Undertale’s Underground with a few key differences:
Game Scope/Release Plan: The game will be gradually released in separate chunks. Estimated release dates are TBC until the team is confident with the work.
