Manual entirely dedicated to UNO, the popular card game from Mattel Inc.

Inside this manual, you will be able to read the descriptions of every card in the game.

ITALIAN VERSION OF THE MANUAL

CARD COMPOSITION

• Color: blue, green, red, yellow, purple, orange or black

• Number: from 0 to 9

• Symbol: as an alternative to the number there may be an icon of various kinds


0 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9

The numbers 0 to 9 are available in the four classic colors, as well as two alternative versions (orange and purple, 1 to 6) of the Rainbow mode.

They can be played on top of a matching color or number.


+2

The +2 is available in the four classic colors, plus two alternate versions (orange and purple) of the Rainbow mode.

It can be played on top of a matching color or symbol.

Special ability: the next player must draw 2 cards and skip their turn.

N.B. The special ability of this card is addable; this means that three consecutive +2 will produce a total of 6 cards to draw.

In Tornado mode, it is possible to superimpose a +2 on a +4, if the color set matches.

While in the other modes, it is not possible to respond to a +2 with a card other than it (Diablo mode excluded).


Reverse

The Reverse cards are available in the four classic colors, as well as two alternative versions (orange and purple) from Rainbow mode.

They can be played on top of a matching color or symbol.

Special ability: the game turn will be reversed.

N.B. In case of 1 vs 1, the turn will revert to the player who played the Reverse.


Skip

The Skip cards are available in the four classic colors, plus two alternate versions (orange and purple) from the Rainbow mode.

They can be played on topo of a matching color or symbol.

Special ability: the next player will skip their turn.


Colorchooser

The Colorchooser (or Joker) allows you to set, freely, one of the game's four colors (or six, if played in Rainbow mode).

N.B. It cannot be played on top of another Colorchooser (excluding Tornado mode), a +4 or as the last card.


+4

The +4 allows you to set, freely, one of the game's four colors (or six, if played in Rainbow mode).

It cannot be played on topo of another +4 or a +2 (Tornado mode excluded, in either case), a Colorchooser or as the last card.

Special Ability: the next player must draw 4 cards and skip their turn.

Also, it should be remembered that it is possible to counter the ability of this card with a bluff charge (see the «Bluff» section for more details).

N.B. It should also be mentioned that the bluff option is not available in Tornado and Diablo modes.


Alpha

The Alpha cards are available in the four classic colors and contain no symbols.

They can only be played on top of a corresponding color.

N.B. These are cards exclusive to the Xeno mode.


Superskip

The Superskip cards are available in the four classic colors.

They can only be played on top of a matching color or symbol.

Special ability: any opposing player present in the game skips their turn.

N.B. These are cards exclusive to the Omega mode.


Swap

The Swap cards are available in the four classic colors.

They can only be played on top of a corresponding color or symbol.

Special ability: the Swap player swaps their cards with the person of the next turn.

This effect can be canceled by sending /cancel (before playing the card) or by playing the Swap as the last card.

N.B. These are cards exclusive to the Storm mode.


+1

The +1 is available in the four classic colors.

It can only be played on top of a matching color or symbol.

Special ability: each opponent instantly draws 1 card (this effect cannot be increased).

N.B. These are cards exclusive to the Storm mode.


Drop

The Drop is available in the four classic colors.

It can only be played on top of a matching color or symbol.

Special ability: the player shuffles their own cards back into the deck and draws the same number again.

This effect can be canceled by sending /cancel (before playing the card) or by playing the Drop as the last card.

N.B. These are cards exclusive to the Storm mode.


Diablo

The Diablo card allows you to randomly change the color of the game.

Special ability: you can play this card in any situation (even as the last card) and on top of any other card. At the same time, it is possible to play over a Diablo any black card or card of the corresponding color (if there are no cards to draw, in either case).

It should be noted that the Diablo does not reset the effect of a +2 or a +4, but extends its duration. The player in charge of drawing, therefore, can only respond with an additional Diablo, thus creating a chain.

N.B. These are cards exclusive to the Diablo mode.


+8

The +8 allows you to set, freely, one of the four colors of the game.

It cannot be played on top of another +8 or as the last card, and another black card cannot be played on top of it as well.

Special ability: the next player must draw 8 cards and skip their turn.

Also, it should be mentioned that it is possible to counter the ability of this card with a bluff charge (see the «Bluff» section for more details).

N.B. These are cards exclusive to the Crazy mode.


Xeno

The Xeno card allows you to randomly change the color of the game.

It cannot be played on top of other Xeno cards or as the last card.

Special ability: the following player is forced to play a card of the color set by the bot. Alternatively, they are obliged to draw until they discard a card of the corresponding color (max 10 times, black cards not allowed).

N.B. These are cards exclusive to the Xeno mode.


Nitro

The Nitro card allows you to randomly change the color of the game.

It cannot be played on top of other Nitro cards or as the last card.

Special ability: the following player is required to roll a die in response. If the result is not a 1, the Nitro card will force the player to draw 1 to 5 cards, based on a draw determined before the roll. On the contrary, if a 1 is rolled, the player of the card will face an immediate equal consequence.

It should be noted that the next turn after the die roll always belongs to the roller.

N.B. These are cards exclusive to the Nitro mode.
