Thunder Stun Nuggets in Thrilling Overtime Victory

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the charge for the Thunder with a game-high 38 points, including a clutch three-pointer in the final minute of overtime to seal the victory. Chet Holmgren added 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks, while Jalen Williams contributed 19 points and 7 assists in a well-rounded performance.

The Nuggets, led by Nikola Jokić’s triple-double (31 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists), fought back from a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit to force overtime. Jamal Murray added 26 points, but Denver’s offense stalled in the extra period, shooting just 2-of-9 from the field.

'This was a statement win for us,' said Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault. 'Our guys showed resilience against a championship-caliber team.'

With the victory, Oklahoma City (54-28) strengthens its hold on the No. 2 seed in the West, while Denver (56-26) remains in a tight race for the top spot. The two teams could meet again in the playoffs, setting the stage for another epic clash.

Next Up: The Thunder host the Mavericks on Friday, while the Nuggets travel to face the Timberwolves in a critical matchup.
