The Mark Kendall Bingham Memorial Tournament, or Bingham Cup as it is more widely known, is the biennial world championships of gay and inclusive rugby.

There are more than 10 large hotels located within less than 15 minutes’ walk from the University of Ottawa Campus, with many locations directly adjacent to an LRT station and within a stone’s throw from all of the tournament activities.

Chers amies et amis de la communauté d’IGR,
Nous avions tous hâte, et nous étions tous enthousiastes, à l’idée de vous accueillir à Ottawa pour la Coupe Bingham 2020 en août. Cependant, en raison de la pandémie mondiale de la COVID-19 qui prend de plus en plus d’ampleur, et de ses impacts autour du monde, votre comité d’organisation de la Coupe Bingham 2020 Ottawa de même que le comité exécutif d’IGR ont pris la difficile mais nécessaire décision de reporter l’édition 2020 de… la Coupe Bingham et de réinscrire le tournoi au calendrier en août 2022. Vous trouverez plus de détails, y compris les motifs et des explications relatives aux remboursements, en cliquant sur le lien ci-bas (en anglais).
Tous les membres de notre communauté avons à composer avec différents degrés de deuil en raison de cette pandémie. Nous savons que plus d’entre vous éprouvez des difficultés – du fond de nos cœurs, nous vous remercions de comprendre que cette décision est la plus appropriée pour que nous puissions continuer à aller de l’avant.
