What is Atlantix?

Atlantix.io is technically a social marketplace, although we prefer to think of it as a technological and social infrastructure designed to enable the community to launch and manage online businesses in an international market using their smartphones without needing any prior knowledge or experience.


The platform facilitates the selling and advertising of products and services in the same manner as the traditional online marketplaces, through the use of a new kind of company social profile that integrates the features of e-commerce to those of social networks. It also makes it possible to monetize the number of subscribers to a page on a monthly basis, by having the subscribers participate in activities launched within the community in exchange for credits that are freely expendable within the platform.

Why are we doing this?

We at Atlantix believe strongly in the power of communities.

community for us doesn’t simply mean fan bases on social pages, databases of emails purchased at low prices or even the number of visits to a website, but rather a group of people who are bound together by a common spirit that distinguishes them from all others and gives them a sense of pride and belonging. Communities are settings where members are regarded as part of a family, based on shared values, beliefs and needs and in which they are able to build strong relationships not only with each other, but also with the companies they are involved with, while sharing daily experiences, content and emotions.

A strong and well-established community can be highly instrumental in creating a pool of super-motivated people who will support marketing and strategic activities within it.


We believe that if people are treated with due respect and given the necessary orientation and platform upon which they can engage and are not considered as mere numbers or ordinary customers, then they can help companies achieve incredible results.

From an economic point of view, communities are capable of helping bring down customer acquisition costs through word of mouth which leads to organic increase in customer numbers.


They can also be extremely useful from a strategic stand point, especially where the community becomes the trusted audience that people ask questions and get immediate answers from in order to make better decisions.


The community is the perfect source from which to draw useful feedback on products since they are the only group of people who have genuine interest in the success of the company. 


We not only believe strongly in the power of the community, but also in the power of having a group of happy people within the community.

We believe that it’s the happy people that are able to perform well in the things they are talented in. 


They are the people who are fortunate enough to match their talent with their work, in organizations that enable them to be appreciated publicly for their abilities, on the basis of the merit they display.

We believe that all people-oriented organisations can achieve better results if the people who form part of them are happy with their social environment, the role they play in the organization and if they feel motivated.

Often however, most organisations especially the big ones as we all know, are not structured in a way that will make their people happy. In fact, for the most apart, they generate stress at all levels.

In order to be innovative and to build an ultra-modern company, we are experimenting with a set of internal rules based on staff activities, and which aim to structurally eliminate some negative mechanisms brought about by conflicts of Interest.

What stage are we at?

The idea was born about a year ago, while the beta version was released in July 2019. 

Atlantix currently has a community base of up to 10 users, 20 Staff Members, 120 published business pages, €500k in revenue, and about 400 user-created teams within the community.


At the moment we are only present in Italy, but will start creating international communities in a few weeks once the multilingual platform is ready. 


Some of the milestones, after having built the platform prototype include the ongoing expansion phase which involves populating the marketplace by opening pages managed by the community as well as increasing the number of users in order to attract more activity within the communities already existent on the platform.



About us?

Atlantix is a platform created by Friendz, a swiss company that has been actively involved in digital marketing since 2015. Friendz during its ICO in 2018 launched it's own coin called FDZ to let companies buy marketing services.

Friendz was founded with the purpose of revolutionizing digital marketing through communities and the involvement of people in the promotional activities of companies.

What are we looking for?

Atlantix is a very ambitious and extraordinarily complex project. 

Our goal is to build a solid and innovative international company that will be capable of competing with the big players in the e-commerce and social network markets in the years to come. Unlike traditional start-ups, this project aims to achieve a distributed ownership within the community. That's why our priority is looking for suitable people and not money.


In Atlantix, all activities are carried out by the community based on the roles played by each member and everything is evaluated economically on the basis of a meritocratic system.


One of the most important roles within the community is played by the Staff Members.

- The Staff Members


Staff Member represent a role within the community in which members collaborate actively with the platform by way of, serving the main platform and performing community management tasks. Being a staff Member is not a full-time activity for any of the participants, in fact everyone is free to invest their time based on their availability. Staff pay is linked to the tasks performed and the team they belong to. The staff team works completely remotely with a very agile methodology.

The activities that are required of the staff are not fixed in nature, but rather adaptable based on the set of skills possessed by the members. 

The staff selection is carried out periodically within the community through an anonymous process that ensures the identity of the applicant is not revealed until the actual selection is complete. This helps to avoid any bias that may arise otherwise.


Details about The Staff Members


- Team Leader

Team Leaders represent the role of the entrepreneurs within the Atlantix community.

Only Team Leaders are allowed to open and manage business pages within the platform.

TLs can own the businesses they manage, or administer on behalf of customers outside the platform or other users within the community.


Team Leaders manage page operations, ranging from the management of products in the marketplace to launching marketing activities on the community.

TLs can have their own team of contributors within the community with which they split the revenue derived from page management.



- Collaborations with professionals

These are people who offer their expertise to Team Leaders, in exchange for credits for carrying out activities aimed at managing businesses online.

Professionals are contacted by TL to collaborate on specific initiatives.


The most sought-after professions by the community are:


- Community Manager: Manages the customer community

- Copywriter: writes task texts

- Designer: takes care of the image and content of social pages

- Store Manager: manages products for sale within pages

- Digital Strategist: is responsible for building strategy and activity funnels for pages
