Losing virginity is a huge issue, especially in a country like ours. After your first sexual intercourse, you may have plenty of concerns about your body. Other than the hymen, which does not end up ‘breaking’ in most cases, there are many other changes that a woman’s body goes through post their first sexual experience. Here are some of them:

VAGINAL CHANGES: The elasticity of your vagina changes after you start having sex. Since the vagina is still getting used to this new activity you have introduced to your body, it takes some time for the vagina to become used to penetration. However, this gets better with time. Even how your vagina lubricates itself will change over a period of time.
CLITORIS AND UTERUS KNOW WHEN TO CONTRACT AND EXPAND: When in an arousal position, your clitoris will swell up and the uterus will rise a bit. After some time, your body will become used to sex and every time you arouse, your otherwise inactive clitoris and uterus will go through these transformations and return to normal post the act.
BREASTS BECOME FIRMER: During and after sex, the tissues in your breast swell up and the blood vessels dilate leading to firmer breasts. But, this goes back to normal post sex and is only a temporal state.
Vasocongestion is actually is the swelling of bodily tissues which is caused by increased vascular blood flow which leads to breast, nipples, labia and clitoris becoming enlarged. During this sexual arousal, well-oxygenated blood is supplied to your genitals and breasts. As a result, the outer lips, inner lips and clitoris may begin to swell and your heart rate and blood pressure may also increase momentarily.
Yes, you read that right. This is actually one of the hidden yet truly amazing benefits of losing your virginity. When you have sex for the very first time, it may have a direct impact on the glow on your face-- especially if the act finished with an orgasm. The logic is simple, when you have sex, it improves your blood circulation, which helps in pumping oxygen to your skin, giving it that heavenly, youthful glow. Also, when you have sex, your brain releases happy hormones like Serotonin and Oxycontin, which help in cutting down the stress levels and make you feel relaxed. The result? You get clearer-looking skin with a lit-from-within glow.
NIPPLES BECOME MORE SENSITIVE IN GENERAL: Once you start indulging in sex, your body goes through a variety of new experiences. The blood circulation around your nipples increases and the muscular tension increases making them tender than usual.
HAPPY HORMONES: Happy hormones are the reason for that glowing skin. As a result, the feel-good hormone of your body, serotonin, gets secreted. Other than this, when you orgasm, it releases another hormone known as oxytocin, which makes you feel happy and relaxed.
DELAY IN PERIODS: Since your hormones get active, there are chances your period may get delayed. Fret not, this is not a pregnancy alarm but rather your body's way of telling you that its going through changes.

EMOTIONAL ISSUES: Post losing your virginity, you may have emotional outbursts, both happy and sad. This is due to the hormonal changes and can make you feel extremes of either of the emotions.
Remember, everyone's first time is a different experience, but it is important to use protection to prevent pregnancy and STDs. When you have sex for the first time, it may hurt or feel uncomfortable, due to the lack of lubrication, owing to the friction. If sex continues to be painful for you, you can either try different angles or positions to reduce the discomfort and ask your partner to go slow when it comes to penetration. Always seek an expert advice if sex continues to remain painful.
Losing one's virginity holds great significance for some. But it is important that you do not lose your rationality in that excitement. Make sure you practice safe sex by using a condom, dental dams, and/or latex or nitrile gloves.
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) may lead to poor quality of life, making you more prone to reproductive problems in the future.

IN LIZ WE TRUSS New PM Liz Truss's busy first week in Downing Street
A stunned 26-year-old was with his partner, Mark, and first saw the two women allegedly knocking back wine as they travelled from Crewe to London Euston
THIS is the shocking moment two women appear to brazenly have sex in first class seats on a Virgin train.
Kaden Wild, a fellow traveller, claims he saw the pair getting it on in full view the day before Valentine's Day.
The stunned 26-year-old was with his partner, Mark, and first saw the two women allegedly knocking back wine as they travelled from Crewe to London Euston.
The store manager from Preston told Sun Online: "We noticed these women were sat in our seats and they were quite lairy so we decided instead of getting them to move seats we would take a seat to the left of them.
"It was just them, me and Mark and some elderly people down the end of the carriage.
"And then they got a bit quiet and we noticed they had made a bit of a dam with their coats so the people on the other side of the train couldn't see into their little area.
"We clocked onto it pretty soon - the redheaded woman's head disappeared so I looked over to see what was going on and her head was underneath the other woman's coat between her legs.
"There was some giggling and the occasional moan but they thought they were being totally under the radar."
Kayden, who was on the way to catch a plane to New York, claimed: "It went on and on and on and it got to the point where we were coming in to Euston and the train conductor was coming to clear the tables.
"We expected him to say 'this is not the time and place ladies' but he just carried on.
"They carried on until the brakes went on, then got up, put their coats on and one of them pulled her leggings up."
A Virgin Trains spokesperson said: “We’re sorry for Mr Wild’s experience and are looking into it. Anti-social behaviour is very rare on our trains but we’re sorry when a passenger experiences it.
"In many cases the train manager will deal with the situation there and then, and if they can’t they will notify the British Transport Police.”

SHE was just a girl when she was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.
But 16-year-old Cilka Klein’s beauty so entranced the camp commandant that he made her his sex slave.
Cilka, a virgin, was repeatedly raped by him and kept separately from the other prisoners.
While in Auschwitz she had a degree of privilege, including extra food rations and warmer clothes, but that came at a huge cost.
When the camps were liberated in January 1945, Cilka was charged as a collaborator by the Russians and sent to Vorkuta, a brutal prison camp in Siberia.
For ten years, Cilka endured horrific conditions, including more sexual assaults.
After her release in 1958, Cilka, who became known as Cecilia, returned to Czechoslovakia, where she found love with Ivan Kovac, who had also spent time in a Russian gulag.
For the rest of her life, until her death in 2004, Cilka lived quietly in Kosice and rarely spoke about the hardships she had endured.
Her incredible life is the basis for the novel Cilka’s Journey by Heather Morris, which is out now.
It is a sequel of sorts to Heather’s first book, The Tattooist Of Auschwitz.

It was in 2003, while working as social worker in a Melbourne hospital, that Heather met Lale Sokolov.
As their friendship grew, Lale trusted her enough to reveal his story to her.
Heather learnt that her new friend was a Slovakian Jew, who fell in love with a woman called Gita at the most notorious concentration camp of them all.
Lale’s memories were immortalised in The Tattooist Of Auschwitz, a fictionalised account of his story — and one of last year’s most popular books.
It has sold more than three million copies — two million in the UK alone. The book is being adapted into a six-part TV miniseries.
Heather says: “During one of our conversations Lale mentioned Cilka and said to me, ‘Did I tell you about Cilka? She was the bravest person I knew’. Her story was so extraordinary that I knew it had to be told, too, so I seeded her into the first book.”
Heather, 66, did an extraordinary amount of research for her second book.
She explains: “I saw Cilka’s school reports, I stood outside her home, I went to the synagogue where she worshipped and met many people who knew her.”
However, the new book has been a target for criticism. The Auschwitz Memorial Research Centre claims “the book contains numerous errors and information inconsistent with the facts”.
But the mum of three says: “I promised Lale before his death in 2006 that I would never give up telling his story.
“I make it clear that the books are a work of fiction, based on what I learnt from the first-hand testimony of Lale.
“Although Cilka’s Journey weaves together facts and reportage with the experiences of women survivors of the Holocaust, and the experiences of women sent to the Soviet Gulag system at the end of the Second World War, it is a novel and doesn’t represent the entire facts of Cilka’s life.

“Ultimately both of the books are about hope.
“Humans can cope with so many things and still have a capacity to love and hope for a better tomorrow.”
Reflecting on whether the book was hard to write, Heather says: “It made me angry to write about the abuse that Cilka suffered.
“So little has been written about the rape that went on at that time and I want to call it out.”
Musing on whether Cilka would be happy with the account of her life, Heather says: “I like to think Cilka would be quietly delighted that her story has finally been told.
“Before I met Lale, the Holocaust was just a word to me - much to my shame. I feel honoured to tell these stories.”
