Unrare annual Anniversary event, and the servers aren’t even up on console. What a great look for Overwatch 2…no wonder its forced to be free to play 7 years, a lawsuit and 1 sojourn later🙄

It’s pretty common whenever they have an update. It’s likely that something was buggy so they’re fixing it.
It’s not that big of a deal. They’re usually fixed pretty quick.
If it was a brand new event that the entire playerbase was eagerly looking forwards too, that’d be a worse look. But it’s just another Remix. Not worth crying over.
True but ud think 28+ events laters over the span of a near- decade they’d get some updated tech or respect players time a little more.

It’s definitely frustrating at times, but not much we can do.
I also could not log into a PC version for a first few minutes…maybe wait? it´s nothing there anyway. Worst event this year…
Are all console servers down, or just PS? Only heard about PS.
And updates often bring tech issues, though not the server crashing variety that frequently occur with OW. Hopefully the engine upgrade for OW2 allowed them to fix some of the spaghetti code and reduce the frequency of server crashes.

It’s even worse when this stuff happens on PS4/5 consoles because there could be players waiting in the world right now who’s online-gaming subscription with Sony ends today, and they are forced to renew just because Overwatch can’t get its senses together at the designated announced time of the event.

First time I’ve ever seen the servers down for more than like 10 minutes after a patch.
Lets hope they fix whatever it is that they broke.
While I agree the complaints go too far, not being able to play the game isn’t “one little inconvenience” in regards to the game. It’s basically the biggest thing that can go wrong.

Very frusterating its my last day off work and kcerwatch has a event i wait about 30 mins to update then log in and all i get is log in error now i know alot of people are getting this but blizzard give us a ETA im tired of paying for things for them to not work i dont buy things for that and its y i stopped playind cod this year after over 10 year we keep ure business alive by consumers we expect quility service tech u cant control but consumers u can keep in the loop even more when its your fault.
Yeah, never been down this long. Ah well guess I’ll play tomorrow.
