First bought 7113 last week at RM5.35

EPF is one of the substantial shareholder of TG

Since Dec 10 last year, EPF has bought additional 57.48 million shares over last 3 months when the price down from RM6.60 to the low of RM4.60 during the same period.

From the peak of ~RM9.6o in Oct 2020, EPF bought additional 7.8 million shares till Dec 10 last year (approx 2 months period)
Thus, from peak of RM9.60 EPF has bought total 65.28 million shares within 5 months. (15 Oct 2020 to 10 March 2021)

But surprisingly, long before the price shoot up in MARCH 2020, EPF ceased to be substantial shareholder on 11.03.2020 but immediately bought back into Substantial Shareholder position within 2 weeks.

Is it risky to buy TG and/or Supermax now ?

Yes, of course.

1. Falling knife
2. Bad news and bad rumors

Why I buy ?

1. For fun and excitement
2. Diversification
3. Value buy after huge adjustment from recent high of RM9.72 (19.10.2020) to recent low of RM4.65 (02.03.2021) (failed to pickup any below RM5.00)

Will I buy more ?

Knowing that EPF is collecting since Mar 2020 and collecting during the last 3 months... I believe EPF has access to certain knowledge and information to justify the holding and buying. I trust our EPF, so far so good.
