Sydney to the Max is a Disney Channel live-action original comedy series about a sociable middle schooler navigating the challenges of growing up, along with her single dad who went through a lot of the same situations as a kid.
Sydney Reynolds is a sociable middle schooler navigating the challenges of growing up along with her protective single father, Max. It turns out they have more in common than they realize. The show features the 1990’s flashbacks to Max’s childhood.
Sydney to the Max was green-lit by Disney Channel on September 6, 2018. The series was created by Mark Reisman, who also serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer. The series is produced by It’s a Laugh Productions [2] which also produces fellow Disney Channel shows, Bunk’d , Bizaardvark , Raven’s Home , and Coop & Cami Ask the World . On November 19, 2018, it was announced Sydney to the Max would premiere on January 25, 2019. [3] On May 23, 2019, Disney Channel announced it renewed the series for a 21 episode second season. Production for Season 2 began on July 17, 2019. [4] Season 2 premiered on December 13, 2019. On November 21, 2019, Sydney To The Max was renewed for a 21 episode Season 3. [5] Season 3 began production on October 13, 2020. Season 3 premiered on March 19, 2021. On April 1, 2022, it was reported by TVLine that the series had concluded after three seasons. [6]

The multi-camera situation comedy series was green-lit by Disney Channel on September 6, 2018, and premiered in early 2019. The series was created by Mark Reisman, who also serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer. Starring in the series are Ruth Righi as Sydney Reynolds, Ian Reed Kesler as Max, Christian J. Simon as Leo, Ava Kolker as Olive, Caroline Rhea as Judy, and newcomer Jackson Dollinger as Young Max. The series was produced by It's a Laugh Productions . [2] On November 19, 2018, the series premiered on January 25, 2019. The theme song is produced and written by Kay Hanley, Michelle Lewis, and Dan Petty and performed by Ruth Righi and Dan Conklin. [3] [4] On April 1, 2022, it was reported that the series ended after its third season. [5]

Sydney to the Max is an American comedy television series created by Mark Reisman that aired on Disney Channel from January 25, 2019 to November 26, 2021. The series stars Ruth Righi, Ava Kolker , Jackson Dollinger, Christian J. Simon, Ian Reed Kesler, and Caroline Rhea .
Upon entering seventh grade, Sydney wants a radical new hairstyle to stand out from other girls at school. Sydney's paternal grandmother approves of the hairstyle, but Syd's father Max thinks she is too young for such a hairdo, so he declines to take her to a hairstylist. Sydney defies her father and, with help from her friend Olive, tries to implement her new hairstyle without a stylist, but she accidentally turns her hair multiple colors. Max changes his mind and decides to take Sydney to a hairstylist to get her desired hairdo, and Syd keeps her failed hairdo a secret from him by wearing a wig. At the salon, Sydney's deceit is revealed when the wig comes off, and Max takes her back home before she can get a new hairdo. Meanwhile, flashback scenes set in 1992 show young Max wanting to bleach his hair so he can fit in better with a group of skateboarders called the Dog Boys. However, his mother disapproves. Max goes against her and applies hair bleach with help from his friend Leo, but it turns his hair red instead. In the present, Max's mother tells this story to Sydney, who accuses Max of being a hypocrite. Max apologizes and takes her back to the salon, where she gets a simple new hairdo. But she was punished even when he told her no.
Sydney wants to adopt a dog named Rocco, but Max does not believe she is responsible enough for a pet. Sydney goes against him and secretly takes in Rocco, who she hides in her bedroom, hoping to prove after a week that she can be responsible for a pet. However, she turns out to be allergic to Rocco. Still unaware of the dog, Max hires a cleaning team, Don and Kyle, to clean Syd's room
