Loved the noise-cancelling feature. Did have a light static sound as if something was wrong.

Pros(pun not intended): ANC H1 chip Can charge while wearing with a lightening cable Premium feel compared to solo 3s (must be the pros) Cons: Soft case May put too much pressure on head based on head type Price (purchased on sale) End result: H1 chip and ANC make up for shortcomings, give them a try. I really enjoyed the Powerbeats Pro, they were very convenient, but the earbuds would irritate my ears something fierce after long listening sessions, so I decided to try solo 3s, which sounded good, but there was too much outside noise interrupting my listening sessions unless I turned them way up. So I received these, and did a comparison with the solo 3s to make a decision. The ANC works well, not perfect but definitely allows me to listen at a lower volume compared to the 3s in a pound environment. The build quality is better than the solo 3s, I don’t have a wide head so the headphones are comfortable to me, the cups are a little bigger and higher quality compared to the 3s. The power off by folding takes some getting used to, and when you put them back on, it defaults to ANC on, I’d prefer if it remembers what the last setting was. The transparent setting sounds like the standard solo 3s to me. I spent over a year with the Powerbeats Pros, a week with the Solo 3s, and a day with the Solo Pro, so I’m certain my opinion will change over time. I’d say what has won me over is the H1 chip and the ANC option, which can be turned off to restore it to Solo 3 battery life in quiet settings (2 taps of the small button on the left ear cup) It’s funny that the pros seem to mirror the 3s in regards to controls, takes some getting used to. Bought the solo 3 and pros on sale, probably because AirPod studios are on the way, the price differences are significant but the upgrades over the 3s are worth it to me. People complain about needing to purchase an audio cable separately with the pros, but the 3s didn’t come with one either in the on sale version I bought, and with the quick charge, it’s a moot point. Also, plug in a lightning cable, and you are charging the pros while wearing them. Like others say, the soft case is kinda BS, that could definitely be improved. I know Beats aren’t the audiophiles choice, but they sound good to me. Give em a try, and if it doesn’t workout, return em! That’s all I got! Hope this helps!

I really like this headset. Its got crazily long batter life, I literally charge it once in 10 day. Sound quality is 8 out 10, a bit more basses would make it 10. Noise cancellation is absolutely flawless - blocks everything out, but if you want you can turn it off to be more aware about surroundings. Material quality looks higher than average, have no issues after using half a year. The only cons I have is that it's a little bit tight, and hurts your ears after using a while. I stretched it placing few books between cups, and it doesn't hurt that much, but it become slightly loose. The rest has no claims at all, everything works fine.

The headphones are all that is expected and required to enjoy music as a gift

These headphones are very good at everything from sound quality to the noise cancellation. On my smaller head it fits perfectly with little to none adjustment needed. Even on long rides from 2-3 hours they are still comfortable for on-ear headphones. They are not to big nor small and are perfect for short travel or long distance too. The noise cancellation is way better than I thought it blocks out almost all the noise with no leakage and with music I can’t hear a sound. The battery is perfect only needing a hour charge a week if you use them constantly. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the quality of the headphones, they do feel a bit flimsy, at least on my pair that I received. The length adjustment on the left side is very smooth and nice. Although on the right side it is very, very difficult to move it with ease. It is very jerky and feels fragile when moving it. Even though this doesn’t effect me much it is something to note. My overall option about this product is good. It is a perfect headphone for a cheaper alternative to over-ear headphones with the same features.

Seamless pairing with an iPhone (like Airpods) and really decent noise cancellation (compared to Airpods Pro noise cancellation is much stronger). But this headphones are very uncomfortable, they cause pain in ears if you wear them too long. Also they are surprisingly quiet, i have to crank the volume to 80-90% to to reach enjoyable loudness (same AirPod Pros seem to be equally loud and have better volume curve). Overall i was expecting an update in sound quality department, but Airprod Pros sound as good if not better despite being so tiny. And they are so much more comfortable. For everyday use and gym I would go with Airpod Pors for sure. I wish I could return these Beats, but month has passed, so whatever. [Update] After using Solos for several weeks you get used to the clamping force. Regarding sound quality, i take my words back, they do sound better than AirPod Pros, after spending some time with Solo I cannot use AirPod Pros for anything but podcasts and YouTube. It takes some time to appreciate the SQ, but once you do, there’s no going back to AirPods.

The Beats Solo Pro is absolutely phenomenal! As always, quality of music nowadays depends highly on the streaming source. YouTube is quite frequently the bottom of the food chain compared to other streaming platforms but these headphones make even YouTube better. Aside from YouTube, the sound quality is amazing and clean. The noise cancellation is on point and helps in creating that concert atmosphere without the sound of being in a tunnel. The best part of the noise cancelling is when my kids come to complain to me and I just smile at them, absolute heaven!! 😂 I wear them quite often and they are easily the comfortable I’ve worn. Adjustment is simple and solid, no clicks to hit and you can get the right fit. The controls on the headset themselves are great and easy to figure out (I’m not a direction reader). The ability to fold them up makes it even better as they take up less space. I have two other Beats products and they haven’t let me down yet, hoping these headphones follow suit. Highly recommend!

Good sound but compress the ears

I wanted to love these, but after an hour I decided to return them. They simply compress your ears far too much. Might be good for short uses (or people with smaller heads). They sound similar to my airpod pros - at the same price with less function (water resistant, mobility, etc). I returned these for Beats Studio 3's - which have a little more base, and are far more comfortable (I'll be giving up the transparency mode).

Nearly Impeccable - Great Quality, Unfortunate Fit

I want to start off by saying that the Beats Solo Pro are the greatest headphones I’ve ever owned. Great battery life, incredible sound quality, and unbeatable noise cancellation. I got these as a replacement for my AirPods Pro, which caused some irritation in my ears… Let me tell you, AirPods Pro are not noise cancelling whatsoever compared to these. Overall rating is 4.875/5. Reason being the fit. While the features are unbeatable, the fit could be better. Depending on your use for these headphones, you may want to consider the Studio3 instead. The headphones sit great on the head, but are very tight/squeezing on the ears. If you plan on using these for extended periods of time, such as an hour or two at the gym, a short of long haul flight, or even a half hour transit to work, prepare for some discomfort on the ears. Otherwise, these headphones are a cheaper option, for the same features/quality, as the Studio3.
