Works well so far but does not spray A very powerful stream
09-16-16 I bought this to repalce a spayer assembly that one of the guys broke and keeps spraying. Product is similar, nozzle is black instead of orange. Wand attachment leaks at the threads, put Teflon tape. Still leaks but will do the job. I understand this item is discontinued from manufacturer, that being said it was pay close to $20 or $34 for the metal wand. I chose the cheap route. Spend a little more and purchase a new sprayer. But, the crew I work with does not take care of the equipment. So, cheap is what I went with. 10-08-16 So, updating my review. I purchased 2 of these wand assemblies, one is already faulty. Spring on trigger does not push piston back into place will try to replace spring and go from there will take pictures to show problem areas.
wasteful to include two handles if you have a different hose size.
Continues to drip from the nozzle when you don’t want it to. Drips from where the wind attaches to the valve even though it is tight. Can’t adjust the spray pattern to achieve desired spray pattern. Going to buy the stainless steel spray wand next time.
This Solo 8956-N 21-Inch Universal Spray Wand and Shut-off Valve replacement fit my Ortho Yard Plus lawn & Garden Sprayer perfect. Very easy installation. Good spray pattern and easy to control. The unit comes with an extra piece so it is compatible for thin and thicker hoses for different model sprayers. No leaks.
Sprayer wand was defective when received, but to Amazon's credit they sent a replacement immediately. The replacement works great.
This spray wand is of better quality than the replacement wands I've used in the past.I was disappointed however that this wand did not include a flay spray pattern tip as listed.Overall this spray wand is better quality at a lower price than anything I've found locally.
