Looks good hope you can make more for the other clothing sections since so far it can only be used on everyday and sleep sections via the underwear but guess editing the clothing will be more tricky and take awhile to add as nude. thanks for the mod so far though keep up the great work.

Anyone who has played The Sims 4 for any amount of time knows that the best way to make sims feel more unique and interesting is to bring in some cc clothes. EA tries their absolute best to bring us trendy and cute clothes (at least lately, not so much in 2014) but sometimes we just don’t have that perfect clothing item that we need to have in our virtual collection.
Downloading custom content clothes is easy and these gorgeous items can be found in so many locations and it can be really easy to bloat up your mods folder in just a few clicks. Below are over 50 of my favorite custom content clothing collections or individual pieces that you need to download to try out on your favorite sims.
Before we can jump in to the individual cc clothes items that you need, it’s important to discuss places that you can find awesome clothes for your game. There is a lot of confusion for new players in how you find these items, and which websites are safe to download from which can stop people from using custom content all together.
The absolute best way that you can find cc clothes is to find websites that have tons of options and are totally safe like thesimsresource.com which is one of the best. This website has thousands of options and at first is pretty intimidating because there are a lot of ads, but if you look past the ads you can find so many goodies.
There are also websites like modthesims.info where you can easily find safe mods for you to download. Another awesome website for you to go to for finding stuff for The Sims 4 is tumblr because sims creators are constantly reblogging different clothing creations for you to download.
If you are looking for great clothes for your game there are also tons of individual creators who have patreons and post their creations there, below are a few of my favorites:
There are dozens of other creators you’ll be able to find on patreon and other sites to find more creations and honestly you’ll find so many cc clothes that you’ll love!
There are so many beautiful sets that you can find for your sims to wear in The Sims 4. This Agatha set is absolutely beautiful and looks great on all sorts of sims for formal wear, or a fancy every day outfit.
These clothes feature a gorgeous puffy sleeve top with a small crop and a nice tie in the center and has a matching skirt that work absolutely beautifully together. The creator (Grafity) has even made 20 different swatches so these look great on all sorts of skin tones and body types.
The Anna top is so beautiful and simple and sometimes simple goes a long way when using custom content. Pairing this simple crop top with a high waisted pair of jeans or a nice floral skirt can be a real mood.
This is a great option for cc clothes because it comes in a number of swatches and is so versatile so you can use it for all sorts of outfits from formal with a long skirt, to every day or even as a fitness top.
The Ariel crop top featured a gorgeous small cami top with an X detail going around your sim’s stomach and making this shirt absolutely gorgeous. This works great for big or small bust sims and shows off a bunch of skin and makes them look gorgeous.
You can pair this top with any kind of skirt, shorts, or jeans as long as they’re high waisted and works awesome as a formal outfit, a party outfit or a hot weather outfit.
There are so many gorgeous cc sweaters out there and this apple picking sweater is one of the best. It features a wide swoop neck and gorgeous knitted detailing on the body and arms with a puffy arm that makes your sims look so beautiful and cozy for fall.
This can be paired with any type of bottom and looks great as a cold weather top, or just a cozy everyday or sleep top for your sims to love.
Sometimes the best custom content clothes for The Sims 4 is just recolors of bad EA clothes and this fits that bill. There is a shirt just like this in the game, however, the colors that EA gave us are just bad.
This adds 14 new swatches to the already existing top in the game, which is awesome because it makes this top so much more useable.
There’s no way I could talk about cc clothes without having some sort of more costume but beautiful outfit like this bad witch outfit by grim cookies. This outfit is great if you’re having some woohoo time with your partner, or if you just want to dress up for Spooky Day.
This gorgeous outfit features a beautiful corset top with a skirt to match that will have you looking like a bad witch.
Any sim living in the island in Windeburg who is living their cottagecore dreams will absolutely love this Bianca dress. This dress features a high low bottom with a straight across frilly neckline and a buttoned top that all work together to be absolutely beautiful.
This dress would look great on your elder sims, or any sim who just wants to take care of their crops and grow a beautiful field of flowers in their home. So pretty!
There are so many pieces of cc clothes that are so trendy you just wish you could have them in real life, this Billie sweater is so darn cute I wish I had it in my closet. This sweater features a gorgeous high neckline with a zipper from the middle that is so cute, with mid arm sleeves and with some swatches featuring racing stripes.
This top looks so great with any high waisted pair of pants or shirts and is a great option for both everyday clothes and your warm weather items.
One thing that we are definitely missing in The Sims 4 is some comfy but also trendy sweats for your sims to wear. These booster sweatpants come in a number or styles with side stripes or without that make you look like you’re not even trying while still looking so gorgeous.
These sweats are the type of clothes that can be worn as your athletic outfit but also as a great every day option for your sims to enjoy.
This Cecilia top is so beautiful and has so much detail for you to enjoy in game. It has an adorable wide neck that has sleeves just barely connected and makes your sims look gorgeous. There’s a beautiful lattice detail on the chest and this can be a great must have in your cas collection.
the creator made sure to add textured versions with cord detail but also a non textured version if that’s something you’d prefer. You can pair the Cecilia top with any pair or high waisted pants for an effortless look that everyone will love!
Something that I can never get enough of when it comes to custom content for The Sims 4 is jeans. These are a versatile and must have item in all regular wardrobes and it’s so important to have good ones in the game.
These Chrissy jeans are absolutely perfect with a small hole on one knee but the rest being unripped letting them work with tons of different outfits. They also feature a small cuff on the ankle which looks absolutely great.
This coffee sipper jumper is a nice high neck sweater with a nice crop and gorgeous texture detailing. The crop on this jumper is the perfect length and the sleeves go all the way to the wrist, so great!
This cropped sweater comes in 10 swatches that are all giving off cozy vibes and make you want to sit in a coffee shop and read a good book. You can pair this with any pair of comfy high-waisted pants for a great autumn look.
Although most of the time we want our sims to be party ready and looking incredible, once in a while we just want our sims to look cozy and be able to relax at home. This couch potato set is perfect for that, but can also be worn outside and you’ll like you’re just wearing some gorgeous athleisure.
This set features 4 hairs, two hats, and masculine and feminine sweat pants and t-shirts. This gives you tons of cute options for loungewear and is exactly whaat you’d want to wear on a lazy Sunday.
The best thing about custom content creators for The Sims 4 is that when they create clothes, they add so many swatches for you to try out so the pieces are more versatile and can be used on all sorts of sims.
These cute & dainty tanks are awesome and have two different shapes so they can go well with any type of bottom. They come in 30 solid colour swatches as well as 5 patterns for you to love!
If you are looking for some great formal or party clothes for your sims, this diamond dress is an incredible option. This dress features a strapless neckline with a gorgeous shiny top that haas a cute triangle peek a book under the bust.
This dress also has a small bow on the right leg that matches the colours on the top making it look so gorgeous. Looks great for any fun night out with friends at the club in Windenburg or at a party at a friends.
This is one of my favorite items on this list, the don’t give a what dress is so gorgeous. It features a white button down top with a collar which is adorable even when worn with just jeans, but over the top is a gorgeous spaghetti strap dress with different patterns. The blue with the sun and the moon is my favorite!
This dress is something you’d want to wear in real life to a farmer’s market with a floppy hat on a Saturday. Imagine your sim buying organic tomatoes and a soy candle, this is the perfect outfit.
We are really missing out on some good high waisted mini-skirts in The Sims 4 since EA loves to make low waisted items or make their high waisted items too long. This Dorothy skirt is the perfect flowy mini skirt to wear with a crop top.
This skirt comes in some vibrant colors as well as some more neutrals to go with literally any item in create a sim, its so versatile and can be worn by sims of all ages.
The dynamite jumpsuit is one of those items that you’ll want to download if you want your sims to steal the show. This jumpsuit is so unique and comes in fun patterns like camo or cow print and that lime green is so fun!
You can wear this jumpsuit with a crop, a long sleeve sweater, or even a crop turtle neck and it is going to look incredible no matter what you put under it.
Some of my favorite custom content items in The Sims 4 are packs that take items that we got from EA and just adjust them slightly to make them more versatile and beautiful. This eco lifestyle ad ons stuff pack is awesome, it takes some dresses and removes sweaters that are under them or makes them shorter so they are more fun.
It even removes the weird jeans from underneath the asymmetrical skirt that had potential but was just weird. A great addition to your game by grimcookies!
Doesn’t everyone just love a good cropped shirt? This Ellen top is a nice polo shirt with a few buttons and an open collar. It features a stripe across the chest that comes in a variety of colors.
This top is awesome for teens or young adults and works great with any high waisted bottom or pair of mom jeans, so versatile and gorgeous!
One of my favorite pairs of pants in The Sims 4 are the plaid pants we got with The Sims 4: Tiny Living and these Elora pants are even better than those. These plaid pants are awesome and high waisted with a straight leg that is cuffed at the bottom which is so adorable, plus there’s a chain making you look extra stylish.
These pants can be dressed up or down and worn with so many different tops for a unique and fun look.
There are so many tops in The Sims 4 that are too cropped for any of the pants in the game, and all I want is a super high waisted pair of jeans that are cute and simple. These Emilia jeans are incredible for any crop and featured a nice cuffed ankle and can be dressed up with heels or worn with sneakers for a more relaxed look.
These are the types of jeans you’d wear to school and would fit with just about any top in your sim’s wardrobe.
There’s nothing I love more than a cozy sweater that is fashionable and looks great in any color. The sweater features tight wrists allowing for a small puffy sleeve, but not too much, a high neck with a gorgeous cut out detail.
The cut out on the chest of this sweater is so beautiful and makes me think about butterflies, which just makes me happy because who doesn’t love butterflies?
Remember those jeans from number 22? This is the perfect top to wear with those jeans. This fawn top is really beautiful and comes in a number of patterns for you to enjoy and to really show off your sim’s personality.
The fawn top would go great with any pair of high waisted jeans or a cute skirt and gives so much to your sims! Absolutely a gorgeous option for cc clothes.
There are so many horrible pairs of shorts in The Sims 4 so that’s always something I’m looking for when trying to find some custom content clothes for my game. These Hallie shorts are a gorgeous option that are a more elevated version of a jean short.
These shorts feature a small lace detail at the bottom which can dress up any sim’s warm weather clothes and looks great with crop tops!
Okay, okay, I know that most of the clothes on this list are for feminine sims, but I thought I’d include at least one item that works specifically for masculine sims. This Harley top features a small turtle neck with no sleeves to show off your sims arms!
It comes in 20 colors and can be worn as a work out top, a dressy party top or an everyday option for your sims.
There are so many gorgeous cc clothes that really make a statement and this hearty dress definitely does that. This dress features a two piece set with a top and a skirt covered in hearts, to show off your love.
The skirt is high waisted and is so beautiful and pairs perfectly with the top half with some gorgeous puffy sleeves and a tied middle.
There’s so many great tops with crazy patterns for The Sims 4 but sometimes all you want is a nice simple top to wear every day but still look super cute. This top is awesome because it comes in so many gorgeous colors!
This shirt features short sleeves that are cold-shouldered with small straps and this shirt is so extremely versatile for your sims to wear.
Are you looking for a simple jean shirt that you can wear with anything? Well, the Leonie skirt may honestly work for every one of your sims. It features a simple belt with a circle buckle that really dresses up any look.
This is honestly the perfectly simple jean skirt, since it really works with so many tops since it is high waisted you can wear it with just about anything.
These love me right cropped skinnies are a great option for just about any outfit and they feature a gorgeous cuff for you to wear with heels or running shoes. These look great with any simple sweater or dressy top.
The best part about these jeans is that they don’t just come in simple blue, black, and grey, they also come in fun patterns like polka dots or stripes.
This magnolia set is so beautiful and is a great option for a sims hot weather or party outfit. It features both plain colored options as well as floral options that look so great on your sims.
One of my favorite items about this set is that they aren’t tied together so you can pair any color top with any color shorts, or use the shorts or top with another item from CAS.
There is nothing better than finding gorgeous cc sweaters to add to your mods folder and this Margo top is so beautiful. It features an off the shoulder look and and comes in tons of cute colors for your sims.
This comfy sweater is a great choice to wear as a sleepwear outfit, or can be dressed up so beautifully to be everyday or cold weather. The off the shoulder look is so beautiful!
Something that I’d love to see more of in The Sims 4 is bodysuits so that we can have more options for tucking into jeans or skirts that actually look great. It’s so fun to wear and they look great and this monster body suit is a great piece of cc clothing.
You can choose to wear this on its own as a statement item, or put it under a pair of jeans or a skirt to have it be a cool look but a little less intense.
The Not Ur Mothers Sweater is a great option for your younger sims to wear and is something I would’ve loved to wear as a teenager. It features a gorgeous mock neck with a zipper detail going to the middle of the top and comes in a bunch of cute colors.
It even has some great embroidery on the sleeve that gives it an even more unique look for your sims.
Once again we have another incredible add on for a stuff pack, with The Paranormal Stuff add on pack by grimcookies. This took a lot of the crazy patterns on great items from that pack and makes them more versatilee.
My favorite is the one puffy sleeve top that has been made even more wearable by shortening the sleeves.
