Did a whole house ip camera surveillance system with this little app and a few old smartphones! At times the software won't recognize the static ip assigned to the phone (it still wants to use it's own) but for the cost it enhances my DIY system.

Purchased for use with a Pandigital Planet tablet, this app was an immediate hit with my wife, who thought it would make a great security camera. With it, you can send the live webcam feed to most any Java supported browser on the LAN. Simply enter the IP address into the browser and you're up and running. It will also reportedly send the live feed to another Android device.

It works exactly as it says it should, and it doesn't even drain my battery too fast or cause my phone (HTC Aria) to heat up much at all from running the camera and wifi for hours on end. I'm using it at college, and wasn't sure if it would work between buildings on campus, because they share a wifi network, but over different routers. But it still works Great! It is a little bit slower and lags more often when you are across campus, but it still works. For 99 cents, I got more than my money's worth.

downloaded the demo, could not get it to connect to firefox/googlechrome/or AE??? I carefully turned the software on prior to putting the url info into my computer preceeded by http://www.(then the numberrs they gave me) followed by return, each browser did somthing different but none of them showed the picture from my android samsung phone!!! Then I tried bringing up thebrowser before turning on the phone stream? Still nothing...
