Salma Hayek Advocates for Women’s Rights at Global Summit

Los Angeles, May 13, 2025 – Acclaimed actress and producer Salma Hayek delivered a powerful speech at the 2025 Women’s Empowerment Global Summit in Los Angeles yesterday, calling for stronger protections for women’s rights worldwide.

Hayek, a longtime advocate for gender equality, highlighted the ongoing challenges women face in industries such as entertainment, healthcare, and education. 'We’ve made progress, but the fight is far from over,' she said. 'Women everywhere still battle discrimination, violence, and systemic barriers.'
