'SNL Weekend Update' Goes Viral After Hilarious Roast of 2024 Election Candidates

This week’s Saturday Night Live 'Weekend Update' segment left viewers in stitches as co-anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che delivered a scorching takedown of the 2024 presidential candidates, with jokes so sharp they immediately went viral.

The segment, which aired on May 17, took aim at both major-party nominees—President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump—alongside third-party contenders. Jost kicked things off with, 'After another wild debate, polls show most Americans are now considering a third option: moving to Canada. Or, as Trump calls it, ‘the original Mexico.’'

Che didn’t hold back either, joking, 'Biden says he’s running to ‘finish the job,’ which is funny because most Americans just want him to finish a sentence.' The audience erupted as the camera cut to a visibly amused guest star, The Bear’s Ayo Edebiri, who was seated in the crowd.
