Aubrey Plaza Stars in Highly Anticipated New Film 'Daddy'

Los Angeles, May 18, 2025 – Aubrey Plaza, the beloved actress known for her deadpan humor and offbeat charm, is set to captivate audiences once again in her latest film, Daddy. The dark comedy, directed by indie filmmaker Zoe Lister-Jones, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year to rave reviews, with critics praising Plaza’s performance as one of her best yet.

In Daddy, Plaza plays a struggling artist who becomes entangled in a bizarre mentorship with an eccentric, wealthy benefactor (played by Michael Cera). The film explores themes of power, creativity, and identity, with Plaza delivering her signature mix of wit and vulnerability.
