While driving today there was a woman that walked about 5' behind her car, pulled down her pants, stood up and then squatted I am assuming to pee. She did not try and be discreet, I saw a full frontal bush and all, and while squatted she was still of the pavement with her bum pointing to the ditch. She just passed a gas station 2 mins before and there was another one 10 mins down the road. Question is when you have to pee while on a road trip what do you do? And if you pee on the side of the road do you try and be discreet or bare it for all to see?
I have pulled over and peed in a cup before. There were no gas stations and I filled all 44 oz.
Maybe the lady was just peeing behind a bush and she got confused.
I have to wait for a rest stop, I have issues squat peeing, and a shy bladder. That lady is gross, oh and so is a full bush lol. Except that one time my hubby was really into 70s porn and asked me to grow mine out yuck! It was horrible!!!
When you gotta go you gotta go. Sometimes you can't wait until the next station and you didn't have to go when you passed the first one. That being said, *I* would try to be discreet and go by the side of the car where no one (hopefully) could see me and and keep covered up. I'm not ashamed of my body, but its only polite to cover your lady bits.
i can hold it a pretty long time my (like sometimes i only pee twice a day) but if i really had to go and there's not a gas station/store/rest stop i will squat. i will usually try to walk on the woods a bit or at the very least go behind the car door so no one can see me. i have also had to pee in a cup before, i was in the middle of a car wash and it hit me out of no where

Just peeing is not specifically illegal. Laws against public urination usually required one of two things in order to be an offense:
Short version, if you make an effort to find some bushes, you should be ok.
To not get expose while urinating. If that if you're a truck driver. Park on the shoulder and activate your flashers. This will make it look like you're checking your load.
