LOS ANGELES —White hot new starlet Remy LaCroix has decided to step away from the spotlight and stop performing in adult movies. The petite cutie was all but a shoo-in for a Best New Starlet nomination at the 2013 AVN Awards, and her Elegant Angel showcase, Remy , sits at No. 1 on the AVN Retail Buzz weekly sales chart. LaCroix surprised the industry when she announced yesterday that she was "gracefully backing out of porn." She plans to finish up her commitments in July and then move back home to San Francisco. "There’s a multitude of reasons to give now," she said of stepping away, "but the bottom line is that it just doesn’t feel right anymore … physically, mentally, or emotionally. "I am beyond lucky to have had the opportunity to express and thoroughly embrace my sexuality through my scenes and Remy flick. And I’m thankful for all the self-awareness and confidence this experience has forced upon me. Spending this time in my life being hot and spontaneous is something I will never regret. The support I received in my adventure was unbelievable, and I thank you all so very much—most of all, the epic Mark Spiegler."
