Real Sociedad manager Imanol Alguacil praised his team’s effort but rued missed opportunities: 'We had control but couldn’t kill the game. A draw is fair, but we wanted more.'

Athletic’s Valverde acknowledged the derby’s intensity: 'These matches are always special. We showed character to come back, and a point here is valuable.'
