Alum: I was the first of my family to attend Mater Dei and I fell in love with the school. I made so many great memories from the football games to the amazing friends I made. I thought the classes prepared me for college tremendously and made it very easy to transition into college. Although, the tuition is expensive I think every penny was worth it. The teachers were amazing and always made the subjects fun and exciting to learn about. I think the opportunities I received by being a Mater Dei Alumni also made the high school worth it. When you become a Monarch you will always be a Monarch and everyone in that community is aware of that. You are not only joining a school, you are joining a great big family! Go Monarchs! ... Senior: Personally, I love STA. I could not see myself anywhere else. From the football games to the classroom, it’s always possible to have a great time. Teachers are always willing to give their students the best assistance. Students are different from one another but make great friends. Also, St. Thomas definitely has the best campus store in South Florida! One thing I wish STA would’ve added as opposed to change is a Flag Football team for the girls. Many of us love partaking in powderpuff as part of Cailini and it would’ve been awesome if we had a team. ... Read 710 reviews

Sophomore: BC High is a very good school, all of the teachers are great, they have a good selection of classes and difficulties and extracurriculars here are bountiful. The only thing that is preventing this from being a 5-star review would probably be the tuition and where it is going. BC High costs roughly $25,000 per student not on financial aid, so out of 1400 students probably 900 pay full, which equates to around 22.5 Million dollars a year. I am just finishing up my sophomore year here, I participate in the hockey team, and investment club, and immerse myself into BC High, but since I came here in 7th grade, that sum of money hasn't gone to anything at our school. Besides your average plumbing fix and the trips to different countries(which we still pay for in addition to tuition), there have been no major advancements to the school or campus in general. ... Senior: La Salle is a great place to learn. I went to both middle and high school there, and I can safely say I received a good, well-rounded education. Almost all of the teachers are great; they care about you and they are extremely easy to have a real relationship with. The educators at La Salle are real people, and the students are lucky to be able to interact with them as such. Food at La Salle is good for high school food: comparable to college food I would say. Sports are excellent as well!

There are a few things that irked me about La Salle, however. Certain deans and counseling staff showed little interest in the betterment of the student body and were frequently unresponsive when I or my family would try and reach out with a question. I understand that people in administrative positions have a lot on their plates, however, sometimes it was difficult to receive even a little bit of support from them.

Overall it was an excellent education and I am proud to be a student at La Salle. ... Read 264 reviews

Senior: Even though at first I was shy Columbus changed me as a whole. I loved all my teachers and the education is perfect. I was more of the slower speed learners but still didn’t stop me from doing good. Respect is their, friendships, relationships with teachers is their, everything you need is here. Currently about to get ready and enjoy it all before I leave. Thank you Christopher Columbus For Absolutely Everything! Words can’t even describe how much I’ll miss being their. Senior: I owe so much to this school, especially now with their efforts to give all the students the resources to continue school safely, while still keeping our mental and physical health as top priority. It’s insane how many gifted athletes achieve great success at this school, as well as those in the theatre program, which I believe is greatly underrated. The sense of community here is phenomenal, majority of us feeling valued and loved everyday. Perhaps what’s best is how the comfort of God and the faith is beautifully implemented in all that we do here, from morning prayers to adoration, retreats, all school Masses, etc. I cannot recommend this school enough, especially for those who want to further explore their Catholic faith. Even for those who aren’t Catholic, I can assure you that you’ll feel right at home. From a Class of 2020 senior, thank you CCHS for everything you have done for my family and I! ... Read 259 reviews

Junior: In Short:
- Good: Great Academics, Wide class choices with IB and AP, Great Community and People, Fantastic Athletic programs (with many teams building up)

- Meh/Bad: Limited Parking, Lacks Auditorium, Some older facilities, Lacks parking, Pricey Cafeteria Food.

In Long: After 3 years at St. Edward High School, I can attest that it is one of the best private schools in the Greater Cleveland Area. The teachers and faculty care about the students, and the administration is communicative, kind, and open. Although some of the facilities are not the newest, St. Ed's maximizes the space that it does have. Furthermore, in recent years it has updated its facilities with a refurbished weight room, the Palisin Commons, and the Innovation center. The academics are fantastic and the faculty are constantly seeking to improve the curriculum for the benefit of the students. The community of the school is unparalleled. ... Read 188 reviews

Alum: Salesianum has a name to uphold. So do the students there. They like to use the phrase,"you students are standing on the shoulders of giants," and they are correct. But what goes largely unnoticed is that many of the students themselves are already well on their way to growing to sizes of larger proportions while being supported by each other and the amazing faculty at the school. I honestly really did not want to go to Sallies when picking out high schools, but with parents like mine, I never had the freedom to choose. Yet some how I come to be satisfied with the decision that was made. The athletics are top notch, musical productions never disappointed, there was always an activity to take part in or game to be played. The academics were great not just because of the entire extremely competent teachers, but also because of the many bright young individuals working their hardest. In the end I was very happy to have graduated from Salesianum and to have found a home with those I'd met ... Read 115 reviews

Sophomore: So far it has been a great experience. No matter what your interests are, or what sports you do there is a group for you. it is incredibly easy to make friends. Coming from public middle school I was not the best student. My first complaint is that some teachers are very difficult and fail lots of student, regardless of effort. I was not prepared for what highschool would be like. Very quickly into my Gonzaga experience I realized that I would need to apply myself more if I wanted to go to a good college. Gonzaga helped me with that and I improved as a student. The athletics are very competitive, and when I was cut from my sport, I just joined another. It has helped me have new experiences. My second, and final complaint is the strictness and severity of punishments. Student services can be very "over the top" and makes examples out of student. Overall my experience has been great and the bonds I have formed have changed my life. ... Read 94 reviews

Senior: great school overall! has endless opportunities for every type of person; sports, clubs, community service, faith, etc. I am a senior and the memories I have made over the past four years have truly impacted me and created me into the person I am today. I am beyond grateful to have been able to attend such a great high school. I recommend all girls to check this school as an option for high school. Even if it's not in the budget, there are so many scholarships that can help. I have been able to find enough scholarships to pay for all my tuition through all four years! Senior: I have received a top-notch education from some of the most dedicated teachers and staff that are committed to providing our community with the tools we need to not move on to the next phase of life. Our school's Xaverian values of Humility, Simplicity, Compassion, Trust, and Zeal have been incorporated into every aspect of our development. I feel fortunate to have been given the opportunity to be part of St. John's Prep. I not only feel ready for college but for all of life's challenges that lie ahead. Junior: Gibbons Students live at Gibbons. That doesn't mean that we eat and sleep on campus, although some have tried; it means that this school is where we feel at home. I never get to school after 7:30 am and usually don't leave until 4:30 or 5. That is how welcoming and engaging Cardinal Gibbons is. Between the educators, students, families, athletics, clubs, campus/facilities, and the community at CGHS I would rather be nowhere else. Even though we are a Diocesan Catholic School, the Catholic Faith is not forced upon student. Plenty of student come from other faiths and no one is forced to conform to a certain culture; however, there are still innumerable ways to live out your faith on campus via Mass, service, or the wonderful school Chaplain affectionately known as "Father." Academics are outstanding, Educators truly value and love their students, Athletics are top notch (go Crusaders!) and the community is one of a kind. I love it here! ... Read 224 reviews

Senior: It's a great college prep school. Saint Xavier has really taught me how to study, how to be organized, and to be prepared for college.
