Commentary: Plot Twist: Lunatics Have Always Run the Asylums

There is an old saying: the lunatics have taken over the asylum. The intended meaning is that things have become backwards: an insane asylum should be run by qualified mental health experts, whose orders the lunatics should be following; but when the lunatics take over–nothing is as it should be.

"Lunatics have taken over the asylum" has been applied to various social settings: schools where the students take over and the teachers relent, businesses where employees boss around the managers, and so forth.

Meanwhile, a "lunatic" is crazy person. And among the craziest people are those who ran–and now run–asylums. Rampant abuse–mental, physical, sexual–is the stuff of legends about asylums: true legends. Meanwhile, the key association that oversaw USA's asylums was the Association of Medical Superintendents of American Institutions for the Insane (AMSAII), which formed in the mid-1800s.

The AMSAII was run by the psychiatrists of their day–and is was a satanic cult. For example, the AMSAII would involuntarily commit a wife at the request of a husband–based only on the husband's word against the wife, not based on anything the AMSII knew the wife to have done. Thus, to say the least, early psychiatry under the AMSAII allowed garbage husbands to weaponize asylums for locking up wives without warrant.

In the early 1900s, the Association of Medical Superintendents of American Institutions for the Insane changed its name from AMSAII – to APA: the American Psychiatric Association. After that, with the help of satanists throughout US society, the APA expanded its medical tyranny beyond the walls of asylums.

Now, domestic terrorists in government have given the APA's minions control over virtually everything in society: from determining when, during divorce proceedings, a parent does not deserve custody of their child (e.g. Kanye West); to determining when a disobedient child should be chemically lobotomized (e.g. Rosemary Kennedy); and so on.

Thus, to say the least: lunatics have always run the asylums–first as the Association of Medical Superintendents of American Institutions for the Insane, then as the American Psychiatric Association.

Now, with that in mind, think of all the fraud diagnoses you have heard about throughout your life–Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Autism, etc.–and reflect on how those fraud diagnoses have shaped the way you, and those around you, have thought about how society should torture the disobedient into docility.

Every profession or organization that respects and applies the APA's authority–is a corrupt profession or organization. Modern psychiatry is a dangerous fraud. Professional counseling is a dangerous fraud. School counseling is DEFINITELY a dangerous fraud. And on and on.

Here's one way to think about that, which I often mention: imagine a pastor, rabbi, imam, and so forth–demanding that a child be chemically lobotomized for disobedience, or simply for not paying attention. Obviously, the vast majority of people would find a new house-of-worship. Yet when it is government–through mandatory school–allowing its many incompetent teachers to condemn a child as pathological "attention deficient" or "hyperactive" or "defiant": millions accept, at least passively, the APA's authority to chemically lobotomize such a child. (Thus, to say the least: society at large deserves the covid tyranny that has swept the land: between abortion and the APA, far too many people in society have, for generations, sat back and tolerated anti-child tyranny as normal.)

P.S.: For those unaware of the credentials under my name: I have two doctorates on the subject above. Plenty experts in the field believe some form of what I have argued above. But everyday people will rarely hear these kinds of perspectives from anyone in professional counseling, psychology, psychiatry–because as soon as such a professional expresses any of the points above: they lose their legal ability to practice professionally, which the government heavily regulates.

Nevertheless, plenty professionals have railed against the system, even under threat of losing their livelihood. Many others criticized the system once they were safely retired. Following are just ten examples of the people and ideas whom interested parties can research:
