A couple were seen performing a sex act in full view of a street as people walked past on there way to work.
A balding, middle-aged man can be seen on the bed with the younger female brunette.
The naked pair are shown engaged in a sex act while lying on a bed in a ground floor bedroom in Aberdeen.
The couple performed in full view of any passersby who walked past.
No attempt had been made to close curtains and the room is brightly lit by a ceiling light and table lamp.
Aidan Ingram posted the video on Twitter last Monday after he was sent it by a colleague who stumbled across the pair while on his way to work in the early hours of March 6.
The shocked boys can be heard bursting into laughter while they captured the video on Snapchat.
The video was immediately uploaded on to Twitter the same evening, captioned: "Should've shut the curtains" - alongside a laughing emoji."
It has since been retweeted more than 3,000 times and received over 4,000 likes.
Speaking today Aidan said: "A boy from my work was walking through town early hours of the morning and walked past a window in Aberdeen ... and then noticed the couple going at it.
"He went back and quickly filmed it haha sent it to me once he got into work I put it on twitter because he doesn't have Twitter.
"Maybe they just thought that no one would be walking that way at that time in the morning."
Hundreds of humoured users have taken to the video to express their thoughts on the footage.
Andy McGregor said: "Canny stop laughin man. Imagine ye walked by that."
Paul Bell wrote: "That's outrageous hahahaha."
And another Twitter user said: "Best thing I've ever seen. Give these people an oscar for best screenplay."

A naked couple have been caught on camera having sex on a beach - in full view of stunned holidaymakers.
The pair were seen romping on the sand as a 4x4 vehicle full of tourists pulls up alongside them.
Behind the camera, beach-goers can be heard giggling uncontrollably as the amorous lovers make no effort to disguise their antics.
It is thought the footage was filmed on a mobile phone in Brazil, although the exact location is not clear.
The video has now gone viral after being viewed thousands of times on video sharing site LiveLeak.com.
Earlier this year, an unabashed couple were spotted getting down and dirty in a phone box in the middle of Manchester city centre.
The pair were seen by an outraged witness who immediately called the police.
