Five warrants were executed on Tuesday and Wednesday in Perisher's Smiggin Holes resort village, and in the tourist town of Jindabyne. The arrests are part of Strike Force Minnta, established earlier this year to investigate the supply of illicit drugs in the state's snow fields. Two men from Smiggin Holes, aged 22 and 23, have been charged with a dozen drug possession and supply offences between them. A year-old Jindabyne man has been charged with five offences relating to drug supply, and a year-old woman from Gerroa has been charged with possessing three substances. Three other Monaro residents have been charged with the supply of prohibited drugs. Those charged will appear in the Cooma Local Court in the coming weeks.
